Talker
We have a foundling we have had for about four years. She was always an
inside / outside cat. She came in at night, but spent most days out. We
lived in a low traffic area on woods, so she had plenty of playground.
Four months ago, we had to transfer to another city where unfortunatly, we...

Romance in the air at night by
David Smith
Our cat has been fixed for years but lately two male cats have been
singing her love songs and trying to romance her at night. She wants no
part of it. One cat has taken up residence in the dog house outside the
back door. We don't have a dog anymore so no problem there. It's kind of
funny...

Five Years After Broken Ankle Repair by
Elle[_2_]
My cat broke a rear ankle five years ago prior to my adopting him. A
veterinary orthopedic surgeon repaired it with screws and a plate. The
vet said to stay on the lookout for protruding screws over the years.
Recently a screw came through the skin. There is no bleeding or
anything. It looks...

Boarding v friends v professional sitter for two weeks? by
Ajanta
My cat is about 4 years old and we have never had to leave her alone.
We were always able to find a cat savvy friend to live in our home
during our vacations.
Until now.
We are leaving for two weeks and trying to decide what would be best
for her. Options as I see them:
1. Board her at some...

Strange cat behavour by
Brian[_2_]
Since I had my cat operated on for a cancer on the ear operation (8
weeks ago) he has been acting differently.
He stays in the same spot; under the kitchen chair.
He doesn't clean himself as much as he use to.
He is eating less than he use to.
His movements are slow.
He is an old cat. Do you think...

I'm thinking of switching my cat from Wellness canned food back to Fancy
Feast after many many months. She doesn't seem to be getting nutrition
from the Wellness, it appears to be going right through her. At first she
was satisfied with 9 oz of Wellness a day, now 12 isn't enough. When she

Microchiped question by
Kelly Greene[_4_]
We had all three cats microchipped. I was told at the vet's office last
week that there would be a one time charge for registering each cat,
included in the $47 fee to insert the chip. No yearly fees. But reading the
literature they sent home with me, it says there's a yearly fee of $15.
