I Saw a Pretty Kitty by
jmcquown[_2_]
I was leaving work yesterday and I saw a very pretty kitty. It was
sitting on top of a cement slab over a sewer grate.
I first saw it trotting along the grass by the shop. Then it sat down
on the concrete slab. It was sunny so that would be a nice warm spot :)
Then the cat started washing...

Spring Musings from Down Under OT by
Bev
Jeanette said she liked to get stories from 'down under' at this time of the
year - so here's what is going on in our garden.
It's rose time, yellow, white and pink bush roses are out and dark purple
peony roses too - the lilacs and snowball trees are finished and have
beneath them a carpet of...

New Female feral tale - long but abbreviated by

I've posted about my Rexie, 3 yrs, feral, Siamese, spoiled as sin, came to us at
4 wks. On a diet, yadda, yadda . . .
This is new about another cat.
During August, weeks of 105+ temps, Calif so no rain. This stray female started
coming to my porch. Didn't want to deal with her as I have Rexie,...

Update on Basho by
Victor Martinez
Spoke with Dr. Boggs today. Basho's kidney values are less than they
were yesterday, but still above normal. Overall she's pleased with his
progress. He's been on IV fluids yesterday and today and he gets some
sub-Q fluids before heading home. She's going to teach us (me more
likely) how to do...

Boyfriend & Simon by
Christina Websell
Simon is an ex-counsellor & befriender I had, provided by my workplace. I
was bullied by a manager when my performance fell when my mother was found
dead, but apparently it's OK to do that as long as they were seen to do the
correct thing by providing a counsellor after bullying me into clinical...

Kitten Questions by
Magic Mood Jeep©
You'd think, having 12 cats, that I have *all* the answers.
Wrong.
Why is it, that whenever I'm scooping the litterboxes, the cats follow me
around? Kittens especially. On several occasions Bam-Bam or Barney has
stuck his nose, or entire self, into a litterbox as I scoop it. Once
Bam-Bam very...

EGADS!!! Another Cat!!! by
Magic Mood Jeep©
We have been seeing a long-haired tortoise shell cruising through the yard
on a couple of occasions. She came up to me today when I sat outside with
food for her - she was more interested in *me* than the food. I brought her
inside (eep - I have PO'd the residents) she is in the bathroom (she...

Purrs for grieving mom (OT & minor GW) by
Pat
Two nights ago the Star Mare Hanneke (http://friesianlover.com/hanneke.html)

morning.
Hanneke was frantic. The filly had never stood up, the cord was never
broken. Crows had already picked out her baby's eyes. She may have...

The Cat House by
Pat
I'm surrounded by sleeping cats. Abelard and Lilly are on my desk, Tommy is
on a table top, Billy is on another table, Baby Eyes is on the back of the
sofa, Eli is in the newspaper recycling bin. I never want to let any of them
out of my sight, ever.

Peepers has remembered how to get my attention in the summer by
Larry Osborne
This has nothing to do with the mouse the other day.
I let my cats out on the balcony. I keep an ear out and if they start to
make any noise I bring them in.
Years ago Peepers discovered he could get on a couple of boxes outside the
bedroom window and meow lightly to get my attention. It is so...
