"The Russian Blue" book, anyone? by
Aleksey Gurtovoy
Hi all,
Does anybody have a copy of the "The Russian Blue Cat" book by
Ingeborg Urcia that they are willing to give away for money (i.e. sell
:)? I know that it's kind of unlikely because if you do have the book
then you are probably a Russian Blue fan, and then chances of you
selling it out are...

Why did you pick a cat over a dog? by
Ablang
I'm curious what made you choose cats over dogs?
I prefer cats because I don't have to bathe them every so often. I also
like how I don't have to walk them (dogs love to get their paws all dirty
and roll around in gunk). Cats are usually smaller, and therefore eat less
and have smaller poops. I...

cat proof toilet paper holder? by
Joe Pitt
Someone told me they saw a toilet paper holder with a cover in a catalog
'somewhere'. Anyone seen this. I have a couple that won't leave it alone and
another is trying to get it off the shelf I'm currently storing it on. I
tried turning so it won't roll out and then she gets so frustrated...

Best cat breeds for catching spiders? by
AL_n
I'm thinking of acquiring a cat, and am considering which breeds would be
suitable. I'm a spider phobic, so a cat that would eradicate spiders from
my house would be a particular favourite.
Other qualities that I'd value:
1) affectionate
2) talkative
3) clean
4) no tendency to molt heavily

How much space for a cat? by
Tristan Miller
Greetings.
I am considering getting a kitten to keep my little ferret company while I'm
at work. From what I read, cats and ferrets usually get along just fine
provided that they're introduced at an early age. My only concern is that
my apartment might be too small. I have only one largeish...

Shy men and pets... by
Meow
Hi,
do you have pets?
I think if girls see that you are nice to pets, they'll assume that you'll
be nice to kids and they will like you.

Why do cats lick when their spines are scratched? by
Alex Martin
I have two cats that I live with (one is mine, the other my roommate's,
though they are siblings). When I scratch on either one's spine, they
seem to feel a desperate need to lick something, including the air, my
hand, themselves, or a random nearby object.
Does anyone know why they do this and...

2 cats need home for 6 months by

Hi there
We are planning a 6 month trip around the world
and have 2 very cute cats who, at the moment, we
can't find a home for.
We were wondering if there was some kindly
soul - preferably in the south London area - who
would be willing to look after them while we are
away. We will of course...

you miss. In my case, it's the dust from the kitty litter that has settled
over everything in my home. Is there anything that can be done to...
