Suitable carrier for taking cat on a plane? by
Ellie Pea
A friend of mine is moving from Scotland to Norway soon with her cat
and has to replace her current rather tatty carrier with a new IATA
approved one.
We were looking at them in a pet shop at the weekend and she liked the
idea of one with an opening grill on the top as well as at the front
grill ...

She won't stop eating by
Edd
Hello Everyone,
We have a female cat who has had a litter of four kittens about six weeks
ago. She will not stop eating. She is constantly scavenging for food and
it is beginning to worry us. Even after eating a whole tin of food she is
still not satisfied and searches the kitchen for scraps...

I am treating a young cat which has had cat flu since birth and was lucky to
survive.
Heat a syringe over a flame and stick it in the kittens eyeball,
withdraw the black liquid form inside the eyeball and inject it into
the kittens heart. Hope this helps.

What should I do? by
James Marz
Here's my situation:
I drove home late last night and drove over the neighbour's cat. What
should I do?
(a) hide the cat and let them think it ran away?
(b) wedge the cat under the neighbor's tire so they think they did it?
(c) paint a hexagram on their front lawn and put the cat in the middle

Help: How to Lure a Cat Into a Pet Carrier by
Hilary JRP
I've set up one of those big collapsible cat carriers in my bedroom
for the past month, with one of Mrs. Sweet Cheek's pillows, her
brushes, and some cat nip.
The cat nip was the only thing that got her to go completely in to the
cage, but interestingly, the attraction wore off in a matter of...

Sammy = klutz by
RobZip
Sammy is about 3 weeks from her due date. She is becoming quite the klutz
these days. Apparently her change in weight, size, and mass leaves her a bit
more to compensate for than she has adapted to at this point.
A simple gliding jump onto a chair results in her becoming highsided on her
belly...

2nd Vet Opinion on Willi by

Took Willi to get a 2nd opinion on his bone cancer diagnosis. The place I went
specializes in extreme vet medical care and requires a referral to get
appointments and do not provide routine pet care. Their vets are board
certified in different areas of speciality - the one I saw in Small...

Luxating Patella: advice needed by
jmc
Just got back from the vet. My 8-year-old cat has a luxating patella
- stifle lock, for you horsefolk out there. Apparently it's pretty
rare in cats, and it seemed to quite suprise the young vet who looked
at her. She may have always had the problem in a minor way, but for
some reason it's...

cat peeing, will it stop? .. by

My older cat has been peeing and spraying all around the house since we
introduced a new cat to the house. We're trying to find a new (good) home
for the new cat in hopes it will stop the behaviour but prevailing wisdom
amongst the people I've talked to is that now that she's started...

New Kitten Pees on Comforter by

We've just gotten a new addition to our household, a delightful new

old cat.
Things are going smoothly except for the fact that the kitty has taken
to peeing on our down comforter! They're very difficult to clean, and
he's done...

Cat Anger/Hostility by

Lunchtime is the customary time when I give "Hairball" a treat of some
sort. First he amicably rubs against my leg but then, if I do respond
fast enough for his liking, he lashes out and angrily swats my leg
with his claws and nips at me.
Hairball is also cranky in other ways. Frequently he just...

Two cats is better? by

We are considering getting a cat.
Will a cat be happier with companionship of 2nd cat.
Is there an issue getting two cats?
Does it matter if they both male or female or a mix when both are nuetered
and spayed?
We lost our cat and to have enough cats for everyone in family to share I
thought 2 cats...
