Weeble :( by Magic Mood Jeep[_3_]
I don't post on here very often, but wanted those of you not on FB to hear this from me: Weeble is 16. Has his annual cold, but for the first time I am very worried over it. He's not wanting to eat, losing weight. We are getting several syringes of puree gooshy food into him a day (along with...

Garden by Mr Pounder
Hi I would appreciate any help on what is probably an old chessnut. I am not much good at gardenening. We moved home last year and now have quite a nice garden, it has cost money and a lot of work. Cats are insisting on digging up my flower beds and pooing everywhere. I have tried:

My cat finally caught a mouse!!!! by Doe John
Lately, there were problems with mice getting in through the walls behind the kitchen counters. I found droppings on the counter, in drawers and three dead mice in glue traps. I clogged up the gaps connecting the counter to the wall. Still a big hole inside the conter where the water pipe connects...

Last Message from "James" by CatNipped
I got this at my work email today: "Well, I am really upset so the only thing that I will say is that Holly's pain and suffering are over and that is all that matters, I have cryed all I can. End of Story. In a way she is better off because she was talking about not going back to work because she...

Cinders meets an alien by John F. Eldredge
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. This is a medical condition where you periodically stop breathing. There are several possible causes, but, in my case, I apparently have an inherited tendency for my windpipe to "relax" too thoroughly when I...

One sentence story by kraut / larry stark
One sentence story OK, so I'm going to write a sentence to start a story. Everyone continues the story with one sentence! The sun shone through the window as Misty, the cat, stretched and yawned lightly.

Gray Cats turn Gray? by Jill McQuown
Persia was probably 3 years old when she adopted me. The vet guessed, based on looking at her teeth. So that would make her now 5-1/2. I've noticed when she rolls over on her back, she has grey (white-ish) fur on her belly. Her front paws also seem to be getting a tad lighter. Is my chubby...

OT. What does car insurance cost in the US? by Christina Websell[_2_]
Not for a teenager rushing around a high-powered car but for the average sensible adult like we all are on here with a car that meets our needs. Would you all mind telling me what you pay? I just want to compare it with what I just paid for my renewal. Thinking about it further, I'd like to...

Skeeter blues by Yoj
I feel so sorry for Skeeter. She had a favorite place to lie, in the geraniums by the sliding glass door. She has spent a great deal of time there the past couple of days. I check up on her whereabouts often because of her CRF, and because it's often time to giver her more medication, or try to...

No, Buffy! by jmcquown[_2_]
I guess I'm basically talking to myself here. Everyone else seems to have fled to Facebook. Sorry, not a fan. Anyway... I put away the holiday decorations, one of which was a red glass bowl on the table in the living room. Filled with fabric ornaments. I put the holiday cards on the table...
