Quetzie: RB anniversary by Victor Martinez
9 years ago we said good-bye to our beloved Quetzie. We think about him often, but time has allowed us to smile when we do so. He was the Best Cat Ever, and his spirit continues to live with us. We miss you, baby-boy. http://home.austin.rr.com/lunamayaxoxo/quetzie.html -- Victor M....

Vid: Kasper in the sand by Marina
I didn't get any photos of Kasper this summer, but I managed this short clip of him goofing off in a patch of sand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41tzLxK_j2M -- Marina, Miranda and Caliban. In loving memory of Frank and Nikki.

I've been following your daily updates with the bitties, How old are they now? They sound so sweet, and silly. I loved your 'baby purrs' post as well as your latest one too:) I hope you're taking pictures. I do wish cats could stay bitties forever...they are so funny when they're teensy like that...

Fangs? Who needs fangs! by wafflycat[_2_]
Waffles has just proudly entered the office with her unmistakable cry of "Mowz!" She has just dropped a still warm, hence freshly killed, vole at my feet. Fangs? Who needs 'em! ;-)

Cat Idiosyncrasies by CatNipped[_2_]
I've been thinking about this and finally gotten around to starting a thread about it. Each one of my cats has some idiosyncrasy. I'm sure every cat does, so I'll start and then would like to read about other master's little quirks. Demi - you guys already know hers, she's a 'fraidy-cat,...

Kitty Art by jmcquown[_2_]
When John was here he did a quick graphite sketch of Persia as she lounged by the kitchen table: http://i36.tinypic.com/2443y3q.jpg She looks so dainty when she crosses her paws like that :) And yesterday in the mail I got a painting he did (eeek!) 40 years...

OT - WARNING POLITICAL & AW (Human) by CatNipped[_2_]
This case hits rather close to home and I was wondering if it were possible for us to discuss this rationally. I can sort of see both sides of the issue. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5922356.html "Texas. It's like a whole other country." Coined to promote tourism, that wry verbal...

Purrs for Juliet, please by Flippy[_4_]
Could I have a few purrs for Juliet, please? She's not feeling well. Probably UTI, but will know for sure when I take the urine sample to the Vet in an hour or two to have it tested. Thanks in advance, Flippy.

Changing Food by jmcquown[_2_]
Persia's vet in TN faxed her records to her "new" vet here in SC. This vet was recommended by the neighbor who has the two black kitties. They do boarding (hopefully not needed any time soon!) and after hours emergency care... otherwise I'd have to drive all the way to Savannah, Georgia. Not...

OT PING: Jill McQuown by kilikini
Jill, I've been going over my recipe collection and I ran across your recipe for squash casserole. That might be something that I can stomach these days. Instead of yellow squash, I was wondering if you ever made it with butternut, and if so, is it best to cook the squash first? Thanks! kili

Boyfriend likes his food by Christina Websell
He was fed at 8 a.m and 5.30 p.m. He came in from the out at 7 p.m. to see if his bowl had miraculously filled itself in his absence. It hadn't so he went out again. He came in again at 9. It was still empty. He clawed the carpet. He does this to say "I don't think you noticed what I said...
