RIP icanhazcheezburger? by
Jack Campin
Their new user interface is just about unusable. Very very slow,
often doesn't succeed in loading complete pages, and worst of all:
I used to access pages via their RSS feed in my Firefox bookmarks
toolbar. That is no longer being updated, and there doesn't seem
to be any way of getting a list of...

Anyone using a Weazel Ball? by
John Doe
Anyone using a Weazel Ball?
A Weazel Ball is a baseball size motorized ball which travels across
the floor powered by a AA battery. It comes with a tail but I removed
that. My 14 1/2 pound cat seems to like it, as usual acting shy at
first. I will give it a couple of weeks to a month and report...

(OT) Mozilla Firefox Advice by
jmcquown[_2_]
I mentioned I had to replace my PC. Now I'm trying to install Mozilla
Firefox (browser). I cannot figure out how to install this without it
asking me to d/l all this other add-on stuff I don't want.
I'll keep looking around but if anyone has a quick link to just your basic
Firefox...

Video of Susan playing with Victor's cats by
Victor Martinez
I figured out how to edit and compress the video I took. I put it on the
RPCAPhotos group on Yahoo
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RPCAPhotos/files). The format is Windows
Media and it's almost 4MB in size, my apologies if you can't open this
format; let me know and I'll send you a file saved as...

YIKES!!!!! Not Your Ususal Monday Morning Before Work by
bonbon
Monday morning, I walked out the front door, down the short walk way
to the driveway to get my keys out of the ignition of the truck, and
go back to lock the front door. I locked the door, went back to the
truck, petting Big'Ead, who was on the walk way (Big'Ead is our
recently adopted recentl;y...

My cat finally caught a mouse!!!! by
Doe John
Lately, there were problems with mice getting in through the walls
behind the kitchen counters. I found droppings on the counter, in
drawers and three dead mice in glue traps. I clogged up the gaps
connecting the counter to the wall. Still a big hole inside the conter
where the water pipe connects...

Betty - possible bone cancer by
Takayuki
Last night, Betty started smacking her lips and occasionally rubbing
at her jaw, which was unusual, so I checked her mouth and found that a
lower fang seemed to be slightly misaligned. I set up a vet
appointment this morning to have it looked at.
The vet found that the tooth was very loose, and...

"Bruver" - Question re lonely outdoor kitten/cat - re maMA, Loki and Rexie (for reference) - sorry , longish by
Shirley B.
Long story trying to be short, I've told the story of maMA, found last
summer, friendly as anything (dumped, I'm sure) pregnant, got her spayed.
She then surprised the heck out of me a week after being spayed, by bringing
a litter of 5 kitens out of hiding. I found homes for 4, kept Loki, the...

Barn kittens update 3 by
Annie Wxill
This morning Christine took some food to the barn for the mother cat. She
saw the cat exit the barn as she entered.
Then she heard a little hiss and looked in the dark place between a couple
of bales of hay.
Sure enough, she saw a pair of tiny glowing eyes. She put on her gloves and
reached in and...

I got this at my work email today:
"Well, I am really upset so the only thing that I will say is that Holly's
pain and suffering are over and that is all that matters, I have cryed all I
can. End of Story. In a way she is better off because she was talking about
not going back to work because she...

Garden by
Mr Pounder
Hi
I would appreciate any help on what is probably an old chessnut.
I am not much good at gardenening.
We moved home last year and now have quite a nice garden, it has cost money
and a lot of work.
Cats are insisting on digging up my flower beds and pooing everywhere.
I have tried:

Crazy kitties (long) by
Steve Touchstone
The weather forecast is saying 100% chance of rain here in SW
Oklahoma. I decided to take the day off and not even go pick up the
landscaping equipment trailer. Guess it's just as well, since I need
to do some laundry, tidy up the apartment a little, and watch the USA
men's basketball game this...

Thursday 4.5 Quake in NoCal by
Jeanne Hedge
Just reading on CNN.com there was a 4.5 quake in northern California
overnight. It was reported to have been centered on the small town of
King's Beach, California (in Placer County), which is apparently about
15 miles SW of Reno, Nevada.
Anyone here in that area? Is all ok?

Boyfriend the Brave by
Christina Websell
There is a terrible wind rushing around here as well as lashing rain, but
the wind has only just got up, so I felt obliged to check the chicken huts
to make sure everything was safe (it's very, very late here)
I have a lamp that fastens on my head, so put it on, got all the outer
clothes on, and...
