Marina, Miranda and Caliban.
In loving memory of Frank and Nikki.
Cute! Brrr, I bet they're glad to be able to go back inside and warm
their little toesies.

Too Cut Ozzy by
CatNipped[_2_]
I don't usually post the pictures I take for my Christmas cards until after
I've sent out my cards (and, oh dear, I haven't even started making them
yet - I'm SO late this year). But this one was just too gorgeous not to
share...

It's quiet - too quiet by
Mark Edwards
I just dropped Brother and Sister at the vet's, for their surgery
tomorrow.
The place is quiet. No thumpety bumpety klump of small wildebeests
thundering down the hall, no trying to keep wild hyenas from stealing
supper as it cooks, no furtive glances out of the corner of my eye to see
if I...

A Note from Scott McKenzie by
jmcquown[_2_]
"In 1973 I traveled from Joshua Tree to Virginia Beach to join an artist
friend of mine, David, his wife Judy, and four year old son. David had
been
commissioned by Doris Duke to sculpt a statue, and part of the deal was a
lovely
two story colonial house she owned, which sat on the fairway...

Cards and apologies to some by
Yowie
The store I usually by my cards from didn't have the ones I usually get -
the ones that they did have cost either significantly more or slightly less
than my preffered ones. So I cheaped out and got the cheaper sets, thinking
they didn't look too bad - and I could tart them up with some...

A good outcome for Tara. :) by
[email protected]
Introductions to the Miles Clowder start this week.
I haven't officially told the RSPCA yet, but she's staying. The more I
thought about it, the more I realised that no home is ever going to be
good enough for her. After speaking to my mom on the phone tonight and
crying about the fact I'd miss...

Update on Xoxo by
Victor Martinez
Picked up Xoxo earlier today, surgeon said everything came out great and
his long term prognosis is very good. We'll wait for the pathology
report to see what the lump was.
Xoxo is home and we have plenty of pain medicine to keep him comfortable.
Thanks for all the purrs, we sure appreciate...

Good luck wishes for Tara please! by
[email protected]
I am hoping against hope that my little tortoiseshell foster-cat Tara
may have found a forever home. Tara is the sister of my cat Riley -
both cats were removed from a bad situation by the RSPCA, and I have
spent the last 4 months sorting them out and helping them recover from
their ordeal. I...

purr request by
cl
Settling down stomach purrs are requested for my boycat Andy. He did a
hairball around 1 pm this afternoon. He vomited for an hour or so after
that but nothing came up since his stomach was empty. This is not
uncommon with him and hairballs. Usually his stomach is upset for a bit
afterwards. He...

Survey - how does your can communicate with the mothership by
Bridget[_5_]
Lately it seems that there are several cats communicating with the
mothership. Pam S. and I think we need a survey to know how widespread this
is and how worried we should be. In the meantime, don't forget to wear your
aluminum beanie to help prevent abduction by the mothership or other mind...

Yoda. This is Disturbing. by
Sherry
For the past week or so, Yoda is apparently sleeping like the dead.
Literally. I call his name, no
response. I shake him, no response. I shake him HARD, and he raises
his dead, blinks, and looks
at me like "What do you want?"
A couple of times it scared me -- I did think he was dead. I can
believe...

KFC would like to say by
Christina Websell
How well she is at the moment. She eats like a horse. Today, I gave her
quite a small breakfast of cat food instead of her chicken. I'd like her to
have it to get taurine and and she ate some of it.
By 3 pm she said she was starving since Felix Tuna didn't do the trick. She
wanted chicken and...

Another Sammy search false alarm by
Dan M
I was very hopeful yesterday - I got a call from a farmer a little way
outside of town who had seen my Sammy ad. He described a cat that had
been hanging around his place for a week or so, and it sounded a lot like
Sammy. It took several trips to the farm before I got a good look at the
cat,...

Minette and her family by

As some of you know, I am a foster 'mum' for Cats Protection. I just
wanted to share the story of little Minette with you all.
Minette is a long-haired tabby and white girl, only about 18 months
old, ever so friendly and purry and trusting, very slender with huge
green eyes. She comes from a...
