Allergist was no help. (Update) by
Bob Avery
Well, we went to an allergist last week and although the allergy test
was conclusive (ragweed pollen is an allergy as well as a few other
thingstoo.) We didn't get much help in the way of a cure. The
desensitization shots some of you recommended contain a steroid
derivative that my future wife has...

want to relocate feral cats by
bob syr
About a year ago four kittens were born to a feral queen in my garage.
I've been feeding and watering them, but they do hunt. The mama is an
excellent hunter. I'd like to return these ferals to a new location. I
trapped and had them all spayed and neutered, including the queen, but
now I'm planning...

a prayer to my cat by
[email protected]
I say a prayer to Sammy most every evening. It goes something like
this, " Sammy, if we are to live together for the next 15 years, I
want to die one second before you. I wont be able to bare living one
second without you

More Weakmindedness In Favor of Bad Animals by
Bret Ludwig
Humans are the dominant lifeform on Earth. We have no right to
abdicate from what it has taken the Creator hundreds of millions of
years to do. We have the responsibility to continue the process onward
and upward.
Part of that is responsible stewardship of animals and the earth.
Responsible, that...

Sad But True
Here is an alarming snippet of trivia!
A feral cat of a little under four kilos had been shot somewhere in the
north of South Australia and its stomach contents examined. It
contained one house mouse, three striped skinks, one lined...

Feral Cats Meet the New Boss by
Bret Ludwig
The Ruger Mini-30 has completely revised the economics of feral cat
elimination. At just a few cents per round, the 7.62x39mm WarPac
cartridge provides superb penetration even with FMJ ball ammo and puts
them down for good, one round per customer. In fact this opens up a
whole new strategy,...

Weak minded neighbors "organize phone tree" by
Bret Ludwig
A phone tree was unnecessary. What was needed was giving Lewis a 50/50
chance (i.e., full choke or modified).

The heat of summer by
Bret Ludwig
I hate the heat and the humidity of the Midwest summer. I hate getting
up at O-dark-30 and heading a long way to do what has to be done, armed
with a Ruger Mini-30 and two garage sale Coleman jugs, one with water
and one to **** in.
The four wheel drive is bumpy and loud, and its old carbureted...

Of course a litter of kittens makes fine... THE TRUTH. You can't handle it. by
Bret Ludwig
This is the truth. Read it, every word, cat lubbers. Then look at your
fat, debased selves in the mirror and ask yourself: Is the carnage
worth it? Is there no SHRED of decency and moral rightness inside
yourselves that cannot spare a thought for the innocent victims of your
insouciant, illegal...

Fixing the Feral Problem:What Does, Does Not Work by
Bret Ludwig
Does not work:
TNR. It only slows it down. As the colonies age their members die off
(even without active removal) and new cats come in, being unfixed, and
breed profusely.
Feeding the cats. Boy, that's a no brainer. If no one fed them on
purpose the die off would be much higher.
Education. Cat...

Best medicine for ferals by
Bret Ludwig
A Nosler Partition in .30 caliber, 165 grain. Causes massive internal
trauma and hydrostatic shock while punching a mortal wound channel with
massive severage of blood vessels. Energy dissipation is nearly total
leading to dramatic impact, often picking a large tom clean off the
ground.

I dispatch feral cats by
Bret Ludwig
Someone explain why that is bad. People act as if I invaded their
living rooms and murdered their pet moggy. I off ferals, and only
ferals. And I do it humanely with one well placed 7.62x39 or heavy
handgun round. Rather than dying a horrible death from car impact,
starvation, disease or predators...
