encouraging fur regrowth by
jmc
For a bit now, I've noticed that Meep's collar has affected the fur
growth around her neck. Her collar is not tight (in fact may be too
loose), but she's been wearing one for so long now that there's some
thinner spots in that area.
Meep had part of her chest shaved a couple of weeks ago for...

Cats can be so weird. by
Claude V. Lucas
It's not as if it hasn't been exactly where it sits
or as if it all of a sudden started doing something
different, but this morning I was printing a few CD's
and about halfway through the run Bubba decided that
the inkjet printer was his mortal enemy, and headed
for it across the room at full...

dudley's pancreas... by
Kitkat
Well, here we go again, I think. DH came home and Dudley had vomited
everywhere and has no interest in his dinner. This is exactly what
happened the first time we went thru this. We are going to monitor him
overnight and if he shows no signs of this just being a passing "bug"
then we'll take him to...

Should he have said, "I found a dead cat and buried it," or is keeping
an old lady's hopes up that the cat is well and happy the right thing
to do?
He should have been honest....

sick with worry about my older cat by

My older cat - think she's around 12 years- has been getting worst with
breathing problem the last week.
She constantly has a gasping sound plus tries to cough and not as active
as she was.
Thinking it might be severe hairballs- she's a long hair- as we change
their food from Science Diet with...

My cats are loosing weight by

HI All,
I am new here and need help. I have two female cats about 2 and 3 years
old and both spayed. I have noticed in the last few weeks that they are
both eating less and less (same brand of food, (Natural Ballace dry
food and Fancy feast or friskies canned) even though there is food

Good canned foods: what to look for? by
AlexZ
I know this topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't find a post
that puts it all together. If you would state what to look for in
canned food (from health and nutrition point of view), I would
volunteer to put it together in one post.
Meat content: First few items should be meat?...

I would definitely want to know.
Someone kidnapped my cat when I was 15 or so. I found him 8 or 9 years
later. His disappearance always haunted me.
