Is this behavior strange or normal? by
AlexZ
This refers to my friend's cat. Usually she is quite comfortable with
me, sits on my lap and lets me play with her. However, once in a while,
could even be after having played nice, she gets into this strange
mood: She sits crouched and extremely alert as if hunting or being
hunted (can't tell). If...

Hopefully someone can help me. I received a donation of two littermate
automatic litterboxes (the single cat version). They both came without
the adapter. I tried battery use, but they expire very quickly. Can
anyone who has a littermate at home look at the adapater and let me

Some kind of attack by
altheim
Our cat, now about fourteen years old, has recently started
having some sort of fit, or attack. Her legs give way, then she
rolls about threshing and squealing in agony. This lasts for a
few seconds, but then it seems to be over and she gets up and
carries on as normal. These fits are now occurring...

Cats are at risk from Bird flu by
Mike
Did you know that Bird flu affects cats as well as birds? Even many tigers
have already died in far East from bird flu infection.
Cats are at particular risk of course, because they catch birds.

Vomiting started suddenly, with frequency by
jmc
Poor Meep. We drag her off to the vet on Thursday, and though she's
fine she was a bit down that afternoon - but normal by night, and normal
yesterday.
Today, she got a few minutes out in our yard - she's mostly an indoor
cat but spends hours out there in summer. Wasn't interested in hours,
so...

losing fur by
hawk
My young cat, about one year old, had a large chunk of his fur come off near
his neck, leaving a bare skin area about the size of a quarter What can
cause this? There are two other cats in the house. They never go out.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Siamese's urination habit by
[email protected]
I have a Siamese cat whose name is Dexter. He is approximately 10
years old. We welcomed him into our family when he was about 3 or 4.
He was in horrible condition -- his nails were not taken care of, his
hair was horrible, etc. It took him about 6 months to adjust to us.
We moved after having...

Years back I used to be a regular in r.p.c. and its follow-on groups. I had

returning to relay yet another sad story.)
We got word today that Linus (10 yo DSH) has lymphoma. A lump on his gums
