Are chicken bones OK for cats? by ~Shelly~
I just read another poster mention giving her cat a drumstick bone to chew on. I used to give that to my cats, but a vet told me it wasn't good for them - he said slivers could become impaled in the mouth, throat, or even puncture the stomach or intestines. None of my cats had never had a problem...

Why does Tara Legale says its good to kill a cat. by ~Roy~
She thinks cats are a disposable item and in no way deserve prpop[er medical care if sick........she is of the belief that cats can survive on what they find to eat just fine and do not need any suppl;emental feed, yet she herself weighs in excess of 400 pounds.........What gives her the right to...

HELP! Scared & Confused!! by ~Cat Lover~
I have a 15 year old kitty cat. About a month ago I noticed her right eye could not blink. Her third eyelid DOES close, so she is keeping her eye moist. Took her to the vet, did tests, seems she has some facial paralysis. We scheduled an MRI for her in Madison (I live in Wi, that is about two hours...

Radioactive Iodine Therapy Treatment by ~Cat Lover~
Hi, My cat is hyperthyroid so I am opting for this treatment as opposed to the surgery or meds for the rest of his life. Has anyone had this done for their cat?? I am mainly concerned about what happens AFTER they come home..I do have other cats. Thanks, S

Today, my 15 year old Ragdoll kitty suddenly started to drag her right back leg. We rushed her to the emergency 24 hour animal hospital. We were told that "the good news is" it is not a stroke. The vet (soooo nice) said it looks like she has thrown a blood clot. The vet said that if the...

why does she bite me! by ~*Connie*~
she bites because she's playing, and hasn't learned that you don't like it. you have taught her that it is ok and fun to be bitten. Next time she bites you. stop all movement till she lets go, then put her on the floor and ignore her. Eventually she'll learn that you don't like it. If you do...
