Lost Dutchman Mine Game OT by Bev
This is the perfect way to waste the Easter break and to make money at the same time, lol. Yes, the game is about money - heaps of it!!! - and it's free to download - has it all doesn't it, money and the magic word FREE. An old-timer goes into the desert prospecting for gold. He can pan for...

posh cat bed by Helen Wheels
Saw this rather nice cat bed in today's junk mail. It has to be the poshest one I've ever seen. http://members.westnet.com.au/hcbart/catbed.jpg A little pricey, but they're Australian dollars after all. The feline model in the photo is suitably handsome and haughty looking too.

Things to apply to one's back, and not to apply by Howard C. Berkowitz
As I may have mentioned, the bed got shipped off yesterday, so I made a nest on the floor of several quilts on top of an exercise mat. Not too bad. The cats find it fascinating to have me on their level. This morning, I woke up with a sore lower back, probably from unusual and awkward lifting...

Matty discovers tv by PatM
Matty, the rescue kitty living in a barn for so long, is amazingly well-rounded considering what she's been through. She is going to make someone a lovely friend for life. She gets along with my Loki d*g and when Punkers hisses at her, she just ignores it. When I'm home and Matty is out (been...

Now THAT was a sound I hope to never hear again... by Karen AKA Kajikit
Tessica was getting underfoot this morning and I HAD to go and do the laundry... I picked up the full basket and the detergent and opened the front door and went out... our door is very stiff so when you push it shut from the outside it doesn't close all the way and you have to give it a hard...

How do I post this .avi file? by Marina
I got a cute little 30-second video of Caliban on top of the cat tree. I'd love to post it on Caliban's own web page (http://koti.welho.com/mkurten/caliban.htm) but i don't have the faintest idea how to do that. I've done the page in the simplest html. Can I add the clip with a simple formula like...

Cats for Firefox users by Marina
Just in case someone is even slower on the uptake than I am, check out this Firefox theme. I just downloaded it and it looks so much nicer than the default. https://addons.mozilla.org/search.php?cat=30&app=firefox&appfilter=firefox -- Marina, Miranda and Caliban. In loving memory of Frank and...

the Roxy traction system by [email protected]
Roxy often sleeps on top of me at some point during the night - for example, on one of my shoulder blades, facing toward my head, with her chin hooked over that shoulder (very cute), or meatloafing on my butt, facing footward, among other locations/positions. For some reason, last night she got...

Cats and Music by Mishi
What types of music do your cats like? I just purchased Cusco's Apurimac III album, and started playing it. The first song is called Ghost Dance, and when it came on my cats got all puffy and alarmed (it has heavy drum beats), and ran upstairs. They soon came down with ears swiveling, and figured...

I think I have four owners now by Bridget
I'm not sure when it happened, but at some time in the last month, I went from being a fosterer to being owned. (Shut up Yowie!) I am still resisting it, but the fact remains that Calico is still here, partly due to my father's death and partly due to her illness and partly due to...

She did it again...little minx... by Helen Miles
I've just walked into the kitchen, to find Pandora coming *IN* through the cat flap. It seems that even though the flap is quite a complicated one, and on *IN only* (and bearing in mind that the other cats can't work it properly unless it's set to the right setting for the direction they want to...

Another bath for Billy by Pat
He got poopie stuck in the fur under his tail again. He was almost as good as his sister in the bath. Only difference is he cried a little bit and made a few small moves toward getting out of the tub, but he never put out a claw.

Brrrrush! by jmcquown
I love it. Once a week (or so; I've been lax lately) I say, "Wanna get brushed?" and Persia charges for the couch. When Persia first acquired me in 2001, when I picked up a litter box at Walgreen's I also grabbed a thing labelled a 'cat brush'. What did I know about cats? Lucky for me, she...

Have they setup relief funds in the tornado area yet ( Off topic but) by Matthew AKA NMR
Has anyone seen anything about relief funds being setup for the tornado victims and I am not talking about Red Cross or FEMA either both of those organizations showed their true colors in the last couple years. I know for the For Humane society https://secure.hsus.org/01/makeadonation
