Speaking of Microchips... by jmcquown[_2_]
If your cat is chipped (Persia is even though she's an indoor cat) and you move, even temporarily, please remember to update the information so the chip scan will be accurate. Jill

PING Enfilade by [email protected]
Last I heard, you were going to see a doc about your memory and other related issues. I'm just wondering what's up. Did you have any tests? Get any info? I hope you're OK... Purrs, -- Joyce ^..^ (To email me, remove the X's from my user name.)

Muzzling cats' noses by Bobcat
Lately, Martha our adorable tortie encourages me to make a circle with my thumb and forefinger, then she shoves her little muzzle into it. Idon't think this is especially odd because most cats like to have their heads and faces mauled. Does your cat like the muzzle muzzling treatment?

Shadow chased the red dot Greebling by Adrian[_2_]
He's such a laid back cat I wondered how he'd react, he chased it all round the room for ten minutes then stared at the spot on the wall where it disappeared for abbot twenty. :-) -- Adrian (Owned by Snoopy, Bagheera & Shadow) Cats leave pawprints on your...

PIZZA!!!! Here's your new thread Matthew by tanadashoes
When we were down in Florida, Matthew and Christine were discussing home made pizzas and how to properly make them. Matthew not only knows extensively about them, but is very artistic with the hand and arm gestures when talking about making the crust. I wouldn't know about making crust as I...

OT, but cute: raccoon family by Ted Davis[_3_]
I use the local wildlife as garbage disposers - their game trail to the pond runs between my house and workshop so I'm not attracting them by throwing out food: they come that way by themselves. I also use them to dispose of leftover kibble. Tonight, there was quite a bit, but no garbage except a...

Savannah cats banned from Australia by Yowie
Savannah cats - crosses between domestic cats and the wild African serval - have been banned in Australia as they pose a very high threat to native fauna. http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21598,24119439-2761,00.html (and other places around) Yowie --

Going home by Marina
I'm planning to go home on Wednesday. The trip is always an ordeal, especially the three-hour bus trip (Caliban complained for the first two hours straight when we came here), but once we're home, the cats are usually alright. They sleep for the first 24 hours, then they settle back in to being...

Purrs for a day old bitty. by [email protected]
I went up to TED's today to collect some tablets for Robbie. As I walked up to the desk, Michael (TED) walked out of the back office holding a day old bitty bengal kitten in one hand and some kitten formula in the other. It transpired that Bitty was born last night and mum rejected him and his 2...

Another Buffy the Garage Cat update by Gandalf
The pictures don't come NEAR to showing how thin he really is, if you have looked at them :-( I purposely took them, as much as I could, to HIDE how thin he really is. I figured that the rescue organization *might* use one of them when he goes up for adoption. If I place my fingers just ahead of...

Popping back in by Marina
Hi there. Got my laptop working, sort of at least. Updates: no one has fallen into the sea since I last posted. The swallows have left their nest under the dock, so it's unlikely that Caliban will take a dive this summer. But I do have a short clip of him on the dock with the swallows diving at...

How many is too many? by Magic Mood Jeep
Some people, when I've told them how many cats we have, have looked at me in amazement, or like I'm nuts, or just let their jaws hit the floor... But we only have 11 (was 12, but Poor ol' Smokey ended up with oral cancer at the ripe age of 16), in this picture (from cuteoverload) I count 16...

Mooch Fan Club update by Bobcat
It's been awhile since I brought you fan club members around the world up-to-date on the life of Mooch, our resident stray. He has now survived three bitterly cold Canadian winters, eating up to five catered meals a day on our veranda and sleeping in a heavily padded and blanketed chair equipped...

Tiger does not like "visitors" by ---MIKE---
This morning Tiger was sitting at a window and growling. When I looked out, there was a beautiful black and white cat (I think). It took off into the woods before I got a good look. None of my neighbors have cats so I don't know where it came from. I hope it comes back. ...
