OT - Had to Cry by
CatEyes
My granddaughter put a new "profile song" on her MySpace page - one I'd
never heard before. It's by Rascal Flatts, called Skin (Sarabeth). Here
are the lyrics...
Sara Beth is scared to death
To hear what the doctor will say
She hasn't been well, since the day that she fell
And the bruise it...

Brandy at the vet by
BfloPolska
My little baby got a clean bill of health yesterday!!! I was so
pleased...I worry about her a little more because of the dental evil
she had a few years ago, and how we lost Odessa-Doll to pneumonia that
followed after dental cleaning for an even worse condition of gingival
nastiness. But her vet...

Aggie Marble Jan 1993 - Mar 2009 by
Charleen Welton
Aggie is gone but there is so much of her still here.
Aggie Marble was dumped in my arms when she was a kitten because she was "a
good pet." The people who had her didn't know she was a feral cat. She ran
under our bed and stayed there for nine and a half years coming out at night
for food and...

As I've written here before, my neighbor across the street has five

to say hello to everyone, and respond to a few posts. I sure couldn't
respond to all of them!
The good news is that Internet seems to be better.
Soon-to-be-ex-husband actually came over to help me feed the cats
yesterday, and commented "Yeah, right, he sure looks awful good for a

Sheesh - I've Had It! by
CatEyes
I'm not even going to ask "what next" (because the universe always answers
that question for me)! I was in a wreck last night and my already hurting
neck (from bad spinal surgery) hurts even more today than normal.
I was driving home from work, the same route I drive every day, and knew
there...

intro (kind-of) from lurker by
Jean B.
I have been reading posts here for a while, since I know some
folks who hang out here. Just now I am having some thoughts and
memories that inspire this first real post from me.
Background: I have three cats. One I purchased for my daughter
over 11 years ago (sadly, I didn't know about...

(OT) Saw the Cutest Puppy at the Bank by
jmcquown[_2_]
I was conducting some business when this woman brought in a very small
puppy. Everyone at the bank knew the woman and knew she had a dog. And it
was adorable! It was a ****zu. Twelve-fourteen weeks old but still under 2
lbs. And active! OMG, that puppy was adorable! The owner also let it...

Dot gets out by
Takayuki
One day when I got home from work, I happened to keep the door open
longer than usual, and the ever fearless and curious Dot got out! She
didn't seem to be in any hurry though, so I just quietly followed her
around the yard for a couple of minutes before scooping her up and
bringing her back...

Mildly annoyed (OT) by
Lesley
A while back a friend of Dave's and mine had to stay the night as he'd
missed his train home- this was the first time he'd seen our Fabulous
Furballs and he had a right go about how irresponsible we'd been!
He thought Sarsi and Dunzi were mother and daughter because Dunzi is
about half the weight...

OT - back to school by

I know I haven't been all that visible here lately, but I read every day. I
just wanted to tell those of you who might care that I have enrolled in an
undergraduate program to start working toward a degree. Since I had Eric so
young and got married, we didn't have money for school for me, and...

Shadow got chipped by
Adrian[_2_]
I took Shadow in to get his microchip this evening, he was as good as gold.
Not a sound out of him in the car and he didn't even flinch when the chip
went in. For an ex feral the change since he moved in, April 30th last year,
is incredible, he so affectionate and sure of himself now. You...

Pics: OT outing + dreamy Caliban by
Marina
I went on a trip with Mum and her friends on Sunday. Me and a busload of
old-age pensioners. :) It was fun, though, to spend the day with Mum.
The trip was part of a class she's been taking for years now, about
collecting old things - some antiques, some just 'old'. They take a trip
to see...
