Sweetie pie (aka spazzie) likes to pick up her canned food and put it into her mouth.

Talkin' About Thud by Art Shapiro
Thud is the dark calico that I adopted last August. She had been passed around several shelters because she was so terrified of people, and was finally scheduled to be put down as unadoptable. By a rather complicated chain of circumstances, she found her way to my home. You may recall that...

The Missing by jmcquown[_2_]
Someone else asked after Tweed not posting for a while, but I didn't see an answer. Has anyone heard from MLB (Marie)? I also wonder about Hopitus who has been MIA for quite a long time. Anyone know? Jill

our local cat poisoner by Jack Campin
This is a couple of minutes walk from me: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-26449853 So we're keeping our lot shut in for now. This happened before a few years ago. My bet is that it's some dickhead car repairer leaving open containers of antifreeze about.

Rhett by Cheryl[_3_]
I guess it is time to have him tested for his kidney function. He had another vomiting episode yesterday that really scared me. He was throwing up foam and liquid, and it was blood tainted in one of the puddles. I gave him some pepcid ac (1/4 tab) and he was able to keep it down and today he...

What do you call this? by jmcquown[_2_]
Persia is a short-haired cat. But she has always had a bit of extra fluffy fur hanging down from her belly around her nether regions. I call it a "modesty flap". I'm not sure if I picked up that term here or maybe from her first vet. Apparently most spayed female cats have this extra bit of...

Tina by Sherry
Hi all... Just a quick update on Tweed. She had surgery March 6 and is now back on the ward recovering. Physiotherapists are working with her to help her get back on her feet. The operation was considered a success but they say she's still understandably quite wobbly from being prone for so long....

Yummy Cat Treats Sent March 19, 2014 by Kyla=^..^=
Hi Have you ever heard of Greenies for cats? Charleen Welton sent me some and the Greenies have chlorophyll in them and our 4 cats go bonkers over the Greenies. You can find Greenies in several pet stores in your area. They're not too expensive. If anyone here also has a dog, they have Minties...

What's with politics in a cat newsgroup? by Robert Catt
I don't understand why some people post their political views to rec.pets.cats.anecdotes. Cats are as apolitical as any creature can be, and that's one of the reasons we love them!

Ding ding ding ! by jmcquown[_2_]
I occasionally give Persia a little drizzle of milk. She wears a collar with a metal tag. The bowl I put the milk in is made of stainless steel. While she's sipping, her metal tag bumps against the bowl. It makes a ding ding dinging sound like she's ringing a bell. :) Jill

Tweed (address) by Sherry
I'm not sure how much detail has already been posted but just wanted to give everyone an update on Christina. well done! by Jack Campin
My Chloe is very old and has had some serious health problems. The worst was diarrhoea which seems to have been caused by irritable bowel, maybe resulting from gluten intolerance. It didn't clear up completely after taking her off gluten, but we found that Hills i/d low-irritation dry food suits...

jill dialer by Mike Mayers
You musr have gigantic houses. 75 to 100 feet is the distance from the the receiving unit to the call unit. That's bigger than most houses that I know.

Tweeds accident by Mike Mayers
I wonder how Tweed was able to summon help after she fell. I always carry an emergency dialer that will let me call 911 if i'm in trouble. Anybody that lives alone should have that kind of help.
