Report on Spot by
Jane
Remember that big white cat that my friend had to take to a no-kill
shelter because she was losing her house and had nowhere else to place
him?
Believe me, if I could I would have, but I'm just too allergic to two
cats. One Rita is enough, but two make my eyes swell up. *sigh*
Anyway....after...

72 candles by
Adrian[_2_]
I've just looked at KFC's candle page and there are 72 candles lit for her,
it just shows how many people including lurkers cared so much.

(OT) Bit of Excitement Here! (Freak-out Warning) by
Magic Mood Jeep
DH & I were using an old pair of jumper cables to give our decrepit riding
mower a boost at starting - before I clamped the jumper cables on, I saw
something shiny & black *inside* the large alligator-jaw like clamp,
looked closer.
It moved!

Call to the annual Pirate Cat adventure of 2009 by
tanadashoes
We're running late on this, mainly because the fat wench has been lazy and
ignoring my requests that she get on her fat duff and type for me. They
need to make puters with larger keys. Especially lap tops.
Yes, we're running late this year, but The Mouser will set sail on May 1
this year on...

Weird dream by
[email protected]
When I saw the spider thread (which has morphed into an adware thread),
it reminded me of my dream last night: I was in a motel room and suddenly
noticed 3 enormous black scorpions hanging out together on the wall. The
bad news: I had my 3 cats with me, and they were all very interested in
them.
I...

Mouse! by
Yowie
Pickle has turned into a very profecient hunter since he's been allowed
into the Out.
*Too* proficient, in fact.
I'm all for reducing the rodent population, but please, for the sake of
small sensitive mouse-loving Yowlets, could we *not* leave the disembowelled
remains about the house for him...

Dulce Mae, "music" lover by
Mark Edwards
I am (slowly) learning the banjo. I am still largely at the playing rolls
stage (some call it the woodshed phase because they get banned to the
woodshed), so I am the rankest of beginners.
Tonight, I was sitting on the edge of the bed, petting and sweet talking
Dulce Mae. She was purring. I...

Alright, WHO stole the BBQ pork? by
Mischief[_2_]
ok, WHO did it?
SOME furry feline attempted to steal a piece of BBQ Pork from my bowl
of Chinese Fried Rice and noodles.....
I came back from answering the call of nature and found a half eaten
piece on the carpet.
WHO did it?

Visiting Cats by
MatSav
One of the pair of tuxedos from across the road came visiting
today. Bold as brass, he walked into my kitchen, uninvited :-)
Very friendly, and inquisitive
But...
He's still an intact tom-cat, and I saw him getting ready to
spray. He's too young for anything active yet, I suspect - but I...

Jake could use some purrs by
Jofirey
This has been a while coming on, but has become a lot more noticeable.
Poor guy is losing the fur on his hips and on his belly. There
doesn't seem to be any irritation and he isn't licking excessively but
the fur is getting thinner and thinner. His head and tail and legs
are just fine.
He...
