OT but I need technical help by
GaDragonfly
Is there anyone who can tell me where I can find (or copy/capture) the
Trinity University video of their winning play in last weekend's
football game? I would prefer to do this legally.
Thanks,
Julie

Tigger update by
Christina Websell
I just spoke to my s i l on the phone. Tigger came home this afternoon.
He has special pate type food which must be watered down to a soup and pain
relief tablets to be crushed into his food once his pain relief injection
wears off (tomorrow)
He is managing to lap up the food and he seems quite...

I apologize profusely by
CatNipped[_2_]
I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to offend anyone living in the UK. Stormee
just happened to hit one of my "hot buttons" and I tend to have a knee-jerk
reaction to that (I really hate it when someone implies that the US is a
bunch of ignorant savages - I guess my age is telling, I still have a lot...

[OT] Alka-Seltzer by
jmcquown
We all know my dad is a few bottles short of a six-pack these days. (Sorry,
but the only way to deal with it is to take some of his "moments" and find
humour in them.)
He had Mom call me this morning. She said he wants to send me $300. When I
asked why she asked, "Do you have any Alka-Seltzer?"...

Mowse! by
Marina
Miranda caught a mouse in the enclosure this morning! I don't know how
it got into the enclosure. Must have been via the manhole or maybe it
squeezed between the netting and the wall. Must have been one of these
suicidal mouses we've been talking about. To deliberately squeeze into a
cat...

Marley, the Stealth Cat by
Gennie
My coworker Bill and his wife, Shell, are owned by two tuxedo cats and
a young brown tabby, Marley. Marley likes to "surf" in the bedroom
curtains. He will repeat the maneuver several times per surfing
session!

I'm Worried About Archer by
CatNipped[_2_]
His leg looks OK, a bit raw in spots, but that's not what I'm worried about.
I'd told you guys that his first cast was too tight and caused his toes to
swell - and they had that on him for *THREE WEEKS* before putting on the
second cast (which he wiggled almost out of in four days - scraping his...

The earring by
Yowie
Apprantly I've gained some 'street cred' amongst the younger crowd at work.
Turns out that a few of them are into piercings and other 'body
modification' too (tattoos, scarification and inserts and other things i
don't want to know about) - but have been sensible enough to only have such
things...

Smokey is Polish! by
Bill Stock
Smokey hates all tube foods, Wieners, Sausage, etc. She always tries to bury
them when I offer them to her.
So I was sure she would do the same with the Kielbasa I offered her, but she
loves it. It's actually a little dull as Polish sausage goes, but she
doesn't mind.

Back from Down Under by
Joy
I had a wonderful time in Oz, but came back to way too many posts to read,
even if this were my only newsgroup instead of one of five. I've had to
mark everything as read. Purrs, sympathy and hugs to those who need them.
Best wishes to all.

Abby update by
Ann
Thanks for all the purrs. Abby is starting to feel better after having 4
teeth pulled. She ate a little last night and more when DH came home from
work. She was washing her face today.
We were starting to worry because she hadn't eaten since Sunday night. She
doesn't like getting her medicine...

Food translation? by
Yowie
Having read the Survey thread, there were lots of foods I didn't recognise.
So, people, please describe or explain:
Enfilade - what is a Cottage Roll?
Will in New haven - what is Chicken Murphy?
Granby - well, I've found out recently that biscuits in gravy is not the
same as cookies in gravy...

The Loving Ones - TW by
CatNipped[_2_]
It's been a while since I posted this link - I first stumbled across it in
2004. Those who've joined since then might want to take a look.
Warning (especially for those who have had recent losses) - it *will* make
you cry, but it will be good tears.
