My cat stopped pee-ing? by Ablang
I heard her scratching the carpet today and realized she was peeing near the back of stereo equipment on top of some speaker cables. I knew she couldn't be holding her pee for 6 days and still act normal. -- Hilary Duff turns 18 in this amount of...

My cat stopped pee-ing? by Ablang
My baby is totally behaving normally. I'm surprised no one suggested that she might be teaching herself to pee in the toilet (I always put the lid down so that isn't it), or that she might be peeing in the sink (but then I might notice the smell?). Her BM are still good as always of the right...

My cat stopped pee-ing? by Ablang
It's been probably 4 days since I last saw pee in one of her two litter boxes. She still poops normally (about once every 2 days) and her BM looks normal. So I'm guessing that either something's wrong with her, or she is pee-ing on the rug somewhere that I still don't know about. She is 2 years...

THE PET FOOD INDUSTRY AND YOUR PETS HEALTH (vol 1) by WalterNY
There is a parallel to humans and pets in the area of nutrition. Not all of these parallels are good for you or your pet. Here is a look at how evolution got us here, what happens when you go against evolutionary norms, and a look at how science related to dog nutrition works. For several...

SICK by
One of my cats has been vomiting today... it smells like poop. He hasn't eaten or drank anything all day and he is walking very gingerly. Is this a sign of something serious? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, CCL

Petmate Purrforma litter box by sharly999
I too got tired of replacing my littermaid every year or so. I also got tired of having cat poo pop up and hit me in the face when I removed the plastic waste bin. Back in October I bought a Purrforma. I LOVE the design, it's much cleaner, and the hood is much better than that of the litter...

Pet feeders by Mark Irvine
Hi, I have an interesting query. My girlfriend has two cats and has to be away from her lovely cats for a period from time to time. The problem that we have is that one cat is a greedy so and so and also the more dominant cat. We use pet feeders, the problem being that all pet feeders seem to...

Life imitates art by Bobcat
There's a wonderful little animation on the Internet you may have seen, and played. It's a black cat with white paws and chest that follows the mouse pointer with its eyes, and bats at it with its paw. Now we have a new kitten, Sophie, who loves to sit in front of the screen and do exactly the same...

I think my cat wants to eat my bird! Help! by Kafren120
I just got a six month old cat a few days ago. I also have a parakeet. I know that my cat is still considerd a kitten but how should I go about teaching my cat that the bird is not going anyware and that it's not okay to stare at him all the time? My cat is not agressive, but has a strong hunting...

Diet question by Bobcat
All our kitties are indoor cats, and all are, uh, full-figured. One of them, about 3 years old, went to the vets for her shots yesterday and she's hit 16 pounds! Our vet says it's not a dangerous weight because she's a pretty big cat, but it wouldn't hurt her to lose some poundage. The problem is...

15" Plush Cat Lounger by Ablang
I bought it (cream colored) on sale for $9.99 (that's its original price) from PetsMart. It's a pet bed made by Companion Road products 800- 806-1410 -- My cat's job is to look pretty, smell good, sleep, eat, pee, & poop, in that order.

Kidney stones question? by Chris
My Mainecoon cat has been diagnosed with kidney stones. I was hoping to get some feedback from other cat owners who have expierienced this. What treatment did you seek? Was surgery involved? A change in diet? My vet says he is a time bomb waiting to explode. He said there is really nothing he can...

Electric mouse by Douglas Clark
Two nights ago the cat brought in this mouse. How he caught it I have no idea. A pure fluke I suppose. But he cant catch it and I cant catch it cos it moves like a streak of lightning when chased. Now I aw worried about it starting chewing things, like computer cables. My sister-in-law says...

15" Plush Cat Lounger by Ablang
I can relate to that statement. My cat has ignored some of the things I have brought home, but this round pet bed she took to the same day. Pardon my ignorance, but what is a Prego? Is that a name or a breed? ha! My Prego would never sleep on anything bought with him in mind :-)

Need help in NYC trapping a mom and her three kittens by Patricia
Dear cats lovers, I am trying to help stray cats around my building in Harlem. I discovered a young cat mom 10 days ago. She gave birth under the stairs of the garbage area of our building. It is a covered area, but the ceiling leaks and it is quite cold. The next morning, one little kitten was...

Experience with Maine Coons by Bill
Hello Everyone, As we are getting two MC kittens I was wondering about whether it makes a difference if they are the same sex. We have pretty much decided on one male of the horde. If anyone has an interesting story about their Maine Coons and how they get along that would be appreciated. Bill

Heya, Sorry for cross-posting. Don't know which group to send to.. So, got this kitten from Charlton in South-east London. Absolute bargain, only £20. Crazy little blogger. Does really stupid things. Now about a year old. But, since he's been going outside, a worrying phenomenon...
