Roxy is being a sweetheart today! by Marina
wrote All of a sudden, Roxy is being extremely affectionate today. It started while I was still in bed - she slept on top of me all night, and whenever I petted her, she would turn toward me, purr loudly, and nuzzle me. Now that I'm up and sitting at the...

CTS update by GraceCat
Well.. it's not CTS but it could be if I don't behave ;) I put away my laptop for a few days and was pain free. Today I messed around with it playing a computer game with lots of mouse movement with my right forefinger. Same exact pain. Now I know what causes it and I know what prevents it :)

Hugo Katt. Emergency TED visit. by Lisa Katt
Something has happened to Hugo Katt while he was outside, I don't know what. My guess is he has been in a fight, though there are no regular aggressive cats around nowadays. He came limping very slowly like he was a hundred years old and did not let me pick him up because something obviously hurt....

Sleeping requirements by Zorin the Lynx
I think cats have a law that they hold in the highest regard. Well, my cat anyway... "If a bed has any Object on it, Thou shalt sleep partially on that object, and make a face so adorable while sleeping that thy owner will be reluctant to remove the Object lest he waketh...

Locked my sthupid keys in my Typhoon this morning. The remote door control is in the purse that is sitting on the hearth at home and despite urging by DH I haven't put a spare key on the frame rail of the truck yet. And then I broke a fingernail! very long sigh Julie

Purrs Please! by Sherry
Somebody send some purrs, asap. I have to be at Ms. Woods' elementary class at 10:30 a.m. WITH a dog for the kids to pet. It seems the kids are foregoing their Christmas gift exchange in favor of a "Doggie/Kitty Christmas" and are each bringing a doggie or kitty gift. They want me to come and...

Pirate is doing well in his new home :o) by Christine Burel
Just wanted ya'll to know I've been keeping in touch with Pirate's new slaves, Diane and George, and it sounds like things are going very well indeed! They've already been introducing Pirate to his new kitty companions, Frida and Frodo (they have a Frodo, too!) and so far all seems quite low...

Robin's Tale--er--Tail by Marina
"CATherine" wrote snip Suddenly he stops in mid-groom and looks at the tip of the tail twitching. Slap, slap: as if to say, "behave yourself". He licks some more while keeping an eye on the errant tail tip. Doggone! That tail tip just won't sit...

Persia and the White Gloves by jmcquown
I was born in the wrong time; seriously. I collect vintage clothing and don't mind at all walking around at a Civil War reenactment wearing a corset, corset cover, and hoop skirt :) My mother (who is about to turn 79) told me back in the 1940's they used to rub their hands with vaseline and wear...

Raincoat (Way OT) (Long) by David Yehudah
Before I start this lurid tale, I would like to assure you that the following is the plain, unvarnished truth, completely unembellished with artistic flourishes, hyperbole, or other devices employed by the tellers of tales with the aim of either adorning an otherwise bald and uninteresting...

Xmas in Burma and various other stuff by Dennis Wilson
Well, since Dennis is away working until January 9th, I'm going to go to Burma to visit him over the holidays. I'm leaving on Sunday and plan to be back on the 30th. This should be interesting since the town is teeny tiny and white people are total novelties there. Dennis says he can't go...
