Projectile Vomiting In Cats by Welsh Dog
I've had a little female cat since she was a kitten. She was feral and abandoned under a bush by her mother so we took her in, bathed her to kill off the fleas and had her spayed... that was 4 years ago. She's not exactly 'friendly' most of the time, preferring to come and go as she pleases tho...

Vetenarian 'killer' by eleaticus
Sorry for the crossposts. I just now checked out the cat groups but didn't really see which one would be best, nor how much overlap there is. My 15-year old, Sadie Bugbane, was abused on her first trip to the vet, and since then it is almost worth the vet's life to take her in the doc. She is...

How affectionate is your cat? by Ablang
I forgot to give examples of affection from my own cat. I guess the only evidence left of affection from my cat, is sometimes when I put my face or hand near her face, she will sometimes lick it. She knows not to lick my eyes, mouth, or ears. Although, I sometimes wonder if it is coincidental,...

Cat upsetting water by mahlon
My one year old male cat is normal in all other ways except that he regulary upsets water out of his water bowl. When drinking he places a paw in the water and then "paddles" the water out of the bowl onto the floor. Why does he do this? How do I stop it? Any help would be appreciated. mahlon

Cats are from hell by Adam Ben Nalois
They control the humans with brainwashing-waves emitted by their tails ! Cats usually are controlled by an evil mother-cat.There are warrior cats which will bite you , spy cats which will watch you and transmitter cats which transfer data to the evil mother cat. Beware, cats already have...

Do Cats Hunt Squirrels? by Alley
Okay, this is what I'm hoping someone more knowledgable on cat nature can help me with. Do cats normally hunt squirrels? Interestingly, I wondered this out loud to my boyfriend just a few weeks before moving into our new place. Our new house is in an area populated by a TON of squirrels. I...

Cats are better than dogs ! by Carl Philtmoon
Dogs are fat and stinky and cats are small and stinky ! It´s easier to grab cats by their tails and throw them !

Questions re rescued stray semi-feral cat by Marek Williams
About three months ago I noticed a blond tabby hanging around a house down the street on the corner (five houses from me). He was in terrible shape, badly matted hair, runny eyes, arthritic and skinny. After a few days I happened by when the homeowner was outside (an older widow lady), and she said...

Heated kitty bed? by Ablang
I was wondering if anyone here has seen any products available anywhere else similar to the one below? Two things I like about this product: 1. Activates only when kitty gets on it 2. Uses only 4W of power! Bad? Shipping at this site is like $10. I'd like to buy it anywhere...

I have a female cat who is out in the garden all the time. I also have weeds along the brickwork at the bottom of my house, as well as in the garden itself. Could you please give me some advise as to what weed killer would be suitable to use and would be safe if you have animals like cats...

closed bowl for kittens that forbids adults from eating by Christian Fecteau
I have 2 Siamese. A kitten and an adult. They have different food and the adult prefers the kitten's. I need a closed bowl like in the form of a cube, with just a hole that has an adjustable diameter for allowing only kittens to put their heads in and eat. Does that exist? Or will I have to make...

When there was no commercial cat food....... by Kitten M
Please help my research for cat food. Before lots of people started feeding their cat commercial cat food, (crunchy type or canned food) what were they feeding their cat? Is there such a thing like a traditional "home made" cat food? If you were living with a cat/cats back in those days, what...

Someone told me they saw a toilet paper holder with a cover in a catalog 'somewhere'. Anyone seen this. I have a couple that won't leave it alone and another is trying to get it off the shelf I'm currently storing it on. I tried turning so it won't roll out and then she gets so frustrated...

How to clean smell from (ugh!) non-box ****/pee area (4ft x 8ft)? by David Combs
ok -- have been keeping cat locked into (large) room with adjoining bathroom, where cat-box is. While locked up, and *only* while locked up, he does indeed use the cat box. Maybe 4 days thus far. QUESTION: how to clean-smells from the "illegal" place he had, maybe three weeks ago, start using. ...
