New boy under the bed by dgk
I picked up a new playmate for Espy. I went into the wilds of New Jersy yesterday with my co-worker and made friends with his cat Nipsy, and then took him with me. That was the plan. Nipsy showed up outside their door a few months back and they fed him. Then, after he was attacked by something...

Strange painfull symptoms CATS by The Snowfish.
My cat used to be so cuddly. But now if you come near his ears he backs away. If you scratch his head and happen to move and ear he will back off like you hit him. It looks like he's in pain. Does any one know of why a cat or dog would behave like this?

Soft Paws by Liz
Or people who just leave tehir pets outside the whole time and just feed it. Makes me wonder why they even have a pet. Alice That is quite common here. People will feed roaming animals, treat them if they need medical care, but they will not take the animal in, they don't consider it their...

Water Fountain: How often should I clean it? by Paul Enterline
I have one of those "Drinkwell" water fountains for my two cats. The water passes through a fiberglass/charcoal filter, then out a spout into a dish, and is then recirculated. I have to add about quart of water every three days. Question: How long can I go without changing the water and the...

Drinking from toilet by [email protected]
Why does Pericles want to drink from the toilet? He gets fresh water in his bowl every morning; sometimes twice a day. He does have some weird drinking habits. In the morning when he's let out, he licks dew off the grass. It's rather cute to see. If I can get organized, I'll take some...

I'm probably going to make this sound worse than it is, but does anyone know if it's normal for the front part (just around the front teeth) of the upper roof of a cat's mouth to be darker than the rest of the roof, which is more pinkish?
