near our garden makes him...

Here we go again URI by
meow
I got a foster cat in March of this past year and decided to keep her
for myself. May 7th I took her to the vet for an URI and she was on
Amoxidrops and an eye ointment for 2 and a half weeks. She was also
secluded during this time. She cleared up nicely and have seen no
symptoms until the past...

New boy under the bed by
dgk
I picked up a new playmate for Espy. I went into the wilds of New
Jersy yesterday with my co-worker and made friends with his cat Nipsy,
and then took him with me. That was the plan. Nipsy showed up outside
their door a few months back and they fed him. Then, after he was
attacked by something...

Strange painfull symptoms CATS by
The Snowfish.
My cat used to be so cuddly. But now if you come near his ears he
backs away. If you scratch his head and happen to move and ear he will
back off like you hit him. It looks like he's in pain.
Does any one know of why a cat or dog would behave like this?

looking for diabates help by
Amber
Hi Ya'll,
Not an emergency --
We just found out that one of our cats is diabetic. He was pretty
sick and I took him to the Vet I use to work for, so we have good
medical support. Dr. Whitworth has told me W/D Science diet and
Science Diet canned kitten growth formulae are good enough for us...

Major cat problems by
GR81
I got a six week old kitten three weeks ago and I have a male cat
whose about five and a half years old. It's about nine weeks old now
but the kitten has never ever eaten meat. It just smells the stuff
and leaves it alone. The only thing it ever takes is mustard or a
mixture of egg and milk.
On...

Soft Paws by

Or people who just leave tehir pets outside the whole time and just feed
it. Makes me wonder why they even have a pet.
Alice
That is quite common here. People will feed roaming animals, treat
them if they need medical care, but they will not take the animal in,
they don't consider it their...

Water Fountain: How often should I clean it? by
Paul Enterline
I have one of those "Drinkwell" water fountains for my two cats. The
water passes through a fiberglass/charcoal filter, then out a spout
into a dish, and is then recirculated. I have to add about quart of
water every three days.
Question: How long can I go without changing the water and the...

Automatic litter boxes by
Joe Canuck
Mike Kenzie wrote:
Has anyone had any trouble with multiple cats sharing one of the automated
litter boxes?
Suffice it to say the things are troublesome.
If your cat is large the automatic boxes may not be big enough.
Some cats are afraid of the things and refuse to use them.
Think of how...

Mr. Nangla
Hey everybody,
just need some advice on getting my kittie to use a cat flap. It's a normal

scratches everywhere in the house apart from the scratching pad !

Drinking from toilet by
[email protected]
Why does Pericles want to drink from the toilet?
He gets fresh water in his bowl every morning; sometimes twice a day.
He does have some weird drinking habits. In the morning when
he's let out, he licks dew off the grass. It's rather cute to see.
If I can get organized, I'll take some...

color of cat's mouth by
Joe Diamond
I'm probably going to make this sound worse than it is, but does anyone know
if it's normal for the front part (just around the front teeth) of the upper
roof of a cat's mouth to be darker than the rest of the roof, which is more
pinkish?
