I just got home from sending Waffles to the Bridge.

Waffles isn’t miserable any more, but I am. I know it was the right
thing to do, though, and the vet agreed.

I am very sorry that we've lost him (not just you, but me too)
I felt I knew him.

Joy, I'm so sorry you had to make that decision. It is a devastating
decision to make, and most of us have been down that same heartbreaking
road. You did make the right decision for Waffles. You are in pain, but
you gave the gift of love to Waffles and spared him from unbearable
suffering.

I am truly sorry for your loss. It WAS the right decision, but nevertheless
it is very painful.
