Bad Mommy

She is putting her clothes-things in that bag-thing now. She thinks
just because I am full of treats an catnip I will take this lying
down. Just wait. I'll teach her to pull a fast one on me again.
Love, Stinky

Hey, just be glad she's not putting *you* in that other bag-thing!
(Or box-thing...)

True. But no cat I've known has seemed to mind being thought of as
such :^)

Methinks you need to lighten up a tad. At the risk of starting something
here, you ask about things (like the Weasel Ball) and then don't seem to
like the answers you get (as in, most respondents cats were afraid of them).
If you don't want to know, please don't ask.

And most of us consider our cats our children. You will often find posts
written in the third-person-cat.

Isn't that part of the NG member lifecycle? Lurk, Post, Try to Fix.
Eventually there's anger, grief, and finally acceptance, I think =P

In all seriousness, I know I have managed to step on a few toes every time
I've joined a new online discussion community, whether or not I've tried hard
to get along. Switching from my gamer's IRC channel to this newsgroup and
back again is quite a culture shock! Sometimes I forget to leave my sarcasm,
cruel dark humor, etc at the door when I enter this place.

Then again, some people just like to cause trouble, and I get the feeling
that's what John Doe's about.

He's probably on his way to achieving the record for the number of
people on this group that have plonked him.
