The Princess is MAD at me!

Oh boy is she mad! She usually comes when I call, so when I called
her yesterday, she came over and I shoved her into this strange box,
then took her to a place where strange people handled her and stick
sharp objects into her. She howled the whole way, then mostly ignored
me all night. When I gave her treats, she took them somewhere else to
eat them. She won't come when I call anymore. *sniff*

But the good news is, she's just fine and healthy and has now had her
rabies and distemper shots. The vet said that she is 12.8 lbs, which
is big, but not enormous, and considering her light eating habits,
nothing to worry about. Her heart and lungs sound fine, and there is
no sign of fleas (yeah!) She has had a runny eye for a while now, but
there's no sign of damage or inflamation, so I'm supposed to just keep
an eye on her (pun intended) to make sure it doesn't get green or
gunky.

Oh she'll be back (nodding wisely). They always come back. Just keep the
treats coming.

Glad the princess is in good shape.

In my experience, an angry cat is usually a pretty healthy cat. She
will get over it. Unless she figures to benefit more by not getting
over it.
