I happen to love Cyndi Lauper. Last year while going through things in this
house I found a bunch of formal gloves in a drawer. My mother had a new
ballgown every year and gloves to wear. It was the Marine Corps Ball. She
didn't keep the gowns (dammit!) but she kept the gloves. Now I have them.
