The Jellicle Ball continues
[As the attendees quietly remember their lost friends and family,
Francesca approaches the podium]
Mine furrends and family, we haf a special musical event tonight. We haf
the local musicians and we have Hercule’s orchestra, and they are going
to work together on performing Hercules’ special tribute, “Rebecca”
[Hercule and the Master approach the podium together. The Master leads
the locals in performing their rendition of “Rebecca”. When the first
verse is done. Hercule’s orchestra performs the second verse. For the
third verse, the orchestra and the locals play together, producing a
miraculously pleasing tone. Three of the locals and two of Hercule’s
players all have solo numbers, bringing tears to the eyes of the
listeners with their beauty. The Master turns to Hercule and bows
deeply. Hercule returns his bow, then hugs the Master]
[Francesca wipes the tears from her eyes and takes the podium again.]
Master, Hercule, fangu fur that wonderful moving performance.
Mine friends, if I could have your attention, pleeze. It has become time
for a very special part of the Jellicle Ball - the Siamese Cat Chorale
will now perform "Cat Angel" for us. And if we are furry lucky, we might
be blessed with a chance to see our loved ones who have preceeded us to
the Bridge.
[The Siamese Cat Chorale starts to assemble on the stage. It takes a few
minutes, as it is a LARGE group.
They take position, then begin to sing...]

[The singers pause and everyone looks up to the sky. The full moon
shines brightly. At first the surrounding sky seems jet black, then
something starts to appear... it is the Rainbow Bridge! After a minute,
it appears more brightly and distant voices can be heard coming from it...]
