Daddy 2foot is asleep and Mona is taking the other half of the bed.

Luko looks up from the little bed and says hello then curls back

Meowmie is watching a movie.

All is secure and quiet. He takes his place on the big sofa beween
the front door, back patio door, and where daddy2foot and Meowmie
sleep. He shuffles the blanket they have just fur him until it is
just right then settles in. He shivvers slightly from the air
conditioning. Luko notices and jumps up to the sofa and settles by
his tummy to warm him. He will stay there until his appointed duty
to warm Meowmies's toes when she is done with her movie.

Prince shivers at the thunder this day but he secretly likes the sound
of the raindrops happening. Luko comes up to watch the rain from the
back sunroom and smiles. They jump a little when the thunder cracks
but mostly just watch.

Mona comes up and climbs under Prince so she can see too.

Luko signs 'I wonder where the birds go when it rains like this?'
Mona signs back 'some are in meowmies Birdie house see?' (pointing to
a little blue one with a gayly painted red roof and yellow sort of
porch, nailed to one of the Fence posts).

As the rain fades, a first year bunny hops out from under a planter.
'All the bunnies know' this is a safe yard! Somehow Prince knew too.
He at most gives a greeting 'woof' and wags his tail as they jump
around his yard. He doesn't chase them.

Prince is wakened by an intruder. The bunny, scared runs to safety.
Prince waits just long enough to see it reaching for Mona with ill
intent then barks a single warning as he launches. It smacks a foul
smelling appendage at him and that's it. He's done with games or being
polite.

Moments later, he asks Luko to help him as Mona is busy throwing up.
Luko gets a shovel and drags it to daddy2foot then a trashbag. He sets
in to dig a hole for what was once the head. Meantime, Prince and
daddy2foot have a hole 3ft deep. They roll what is now a seemingly
boneless lump into it and backfill with dirt.

Mona gets Meowmie who sees they all need a bath. She starts the dryer
with 6 fluffy towels and gets shampoo while Mona gets the hose going.
She tried to grab the kiddie pool but it's too big and Prince helps.
Luko sigha and jumps in with him, knowing for once he needs a bath to
get that nasty foul smell off him.

Meowmie washes, shampoos and washes them off then they step out to
warmed towels.

Quiet commences as Daddy2foot lays some fresh grass seed... They hope
the bunny will come back tomorrow.
