Rafa is Nadel's nickname and she got him just after Wimbledon, the kids
she looks after wanted to call him Lucky, so she decided on the
combination.

Ah, I see. KFC's previous name was Lucky, maybe I should have called her
Lucky-Kittyfarmcat ;-)

That would have been *very* appropriate. She *is* a lucky girl.

Well, I suppose she is. She did wait a long time for a vacancy here, it
must have been her preferred option, but rest assured if it had gone out of
her timescale she would have presented herself as "a poor starving cat whose
owners abandoned her 7 years ago" at any house in the road and knocked on
their door like she did mine.
She is a very wise cat who has learned how to survive.
