Iowna awakes to see Cash is gone and Daisy-chan is fixing a net for

A rotisserie has lots of mouses, all dressed out and spinning over
the fireplace. There is even a small bowl of romaine and endive
where she normally sits. She lines up and takes 2 mice back to her
breakfast bowl then listens to the other folks.

"Now, the western cove looks mighty fine today with fishes hopping
but they are mostly flying fish today. You want a net to catch
them. The eastern cove fish are on to us and seem to be swimming
deep but we can still tease them to the top with the right lures!

The fresh water streams are full of freshwater clams and crawdads."

Kittahs grab breakfast and head out to catch fresh food for the
celebration. Cash joins with a boat crew that has the flying fish.
He figures he might catch one! Daisy-chan heads off with a net and a
team to the eastern cove.

Iowna listens. She hears little air pops and goes to investigate
the sand and the sounds... She greets other littler kittahs doing
the same and they explain it is little but very delicious marine
clams. She grins and sets to digging.



Iowna finds the holes fill with seawater pretty fast which makes it
hard for the littlest Kittahs to get a clam out but at the same time,
makes it hard for her to sniff where to dig. With a little
organization, the little ones move to the side then alert when a
flying clam comes out behind her. She then stops and they bag it.
She then backfills that hole and starts another likely spot based on
the little kittahs. As their bags fill to overflowing, they take
them to the kitchen and add Iowna's name to their bag along with
their own.

Meantime, Cash keeps trying to catch flying fish but with no success.
In fact at least once he makes a really good leap to catch one, and
fallls out of the boat! It's ok though, he is laughing and having a
fine time. Perhaps Bast as the locals believe, wants him to carry a
few trays to help set the tables for dinner.

Daisy-chan isn't having much luck either nor are her team. Some of the
others there are however on the eastern cove. She gets an idea when
she sees a fresh water stream. Taking a few kittahs and a bag, they
make a trip and get some crawdads. Using them as lures, the water
almost boils about them! Oh yeah!

Iowna can barely carry her catch but lots of kittahs help. Daisy-chan
gets many crawdads and fish.

Cash with a big grin has a flying minnow that he finally caught!
Unfortunatley he ate it so it didnt count. He happily tells the head
chef he will help and is assigned to pulling the pig he helped dig the
pit for, back out.
