Default Buffy the 'garage kitty'.

Well, the little buff and white abandoned kitty, who is living in my
garage responds to the name Buffy!

She perks up and sometimes meows.

So her name is now Buffy.

I got a dose of Frontline for her today.

I know some of you have sent some money to Victor, for Buffy's vet care.

Thank you so much!

But I told him to keep the money for some other needy kitty.

The rescue organization is going to cover all of her vet bill.

I have to take her to 'their' vet, and it's a LONG ways away, but I'm
sure he or she is a very good vet, or they wouldn't be working on
rescued cats for about 1/3 the cost my vet would have charged. I think
at that level, the vet is probably just barely covering their expenses.

So they get a BIG point in my book!

She goes to the vet on Monday, and as soon as we get the FeLeuk, etc.
results, she goes to her new temporary home.

A walk in closet is better than my garage, by far! And, there is a
window with a ledge where the other cats there often hang out, so it's
pretty decent, even if she's there for awhile. There is a small air vent
in the closet; I'm going to place a fan there, so Buffy will always have
fresh air. The house isn't air conditioned, but is has GOT to be cooler
there than in my garage!

It get's HOT in my garage. Buffy doesn't seem to be suffering, though.

Maybe getting some sardines yesterday and today is a factor...and of
course she is getting good kitten food, to help her gain weight.

She is SOOOOO thin!

But things are sure looking up for her!

Every day is a treasure with Kenzie; I try to treat them that way. There
will only be so many, and then there will never, ever, be any more.

That's great news, Gandalf! You are good people.
