Ewww, this is nasty. Don't we have enough bigotry as it is? I really
wish people wouldn't post offensive stuff like this. But if people are
going to post this, then they are officially forfeiting any grounds to
complain when other people post their political opinions. And mine is
that Muslims aren't terrorists any more than any other group of people.
So please stop spreading stupid (and dangerous) stereotypes and attitudes..

I truly feel bad for the people of the Muslim faith living in this
country. They're being persecuted, not too much
different than other people in history have been persecuted because of
their faith. And considering what
our founding fathers had to say about the freedom to practice your
faith, no matter what it is, it's pretty awful
what happened recently about the mosque (sp?) being spied upon by our
government. I truly think it's a breech of
their civil liberties. I don't like it how "Muslim" has become
synonymous with "terrorist." That just isn't true, and it
isn't right.
And here I go, talking about religion *and* politics, didn't I say
both of them ought to be taboo subjects just recently?
Apologies for being the hypocrite that I am, but I just had to throw
that in, because the story about the mosque was still
fresh on my mind, it just outraged me.
