LOL! I've known many cats do that, but for some reason F&N are perfectly
comfortable walking on the floor. Oh, wait. All surfaces are so
cluttered here that they couldn't walk on them anyway.

My cats regard the sofa with all the rubbish piled on it as their
climbing frame whenever we tidy up they get annoyed (I love it-what an
excuse not to do any housework!)
