HI there, maybe you could try a littleof the old fashioned
castor oil or cod liver oil, if he's still not going but if he
wont lick it himself [most cats will] remembernot to squirt it
down his throat, just trickle it down the side, sorry if i'm
a bit late but I've only just got my comp; back. J. P.

I think the Dust "may" be constipated. I am not sure what qualifies as
constipation in cats. He basically hasn't pooped in 3 days. He is not

going to
the box and straining, he isn't complaining, he is eating and drinking

very much
so normally and he is peeing about twice a day.

We had a house full of people over the turkey day holiday and that seems

to be
when he stopped. I also have removed the lid from his "booda-loo"

litterbox so
that he could in and out more comfortably. Since I have taken off the lid

he
has pooped, about every other day. Could the house full of people have

caused a
colonic traffic jam in my little man? Does he feel "exposed" in his box

now?

He has always been a "every other day" kinda pooper but that was on dry

food
only. For the past several weeks he has been eating a small can of wet a

day
and grazing the dry in the same quantity that he did before the wet. He

is
taking Norvasc for his hypertension but I went to their website and do not

see
that it causes constipation in people so I figured not in cats either...

He is
not uncomfortable at all. He is getting back to the old Dust in some ways

and
his irritated eye seems to be improving greatly since I STOPPED the

eyedrops,
per TED's recommendation.

So.. am I looking at having to give the big guy a little kitty enema?
I can only think of this comic, remember this?
http://www.catenema.com/cat1.html .

I can't imagine. LOL. Any advice? Is there something I can buy at

Petsmart or
one of the holistic pet centers?
