Default why our furries are not going outside

It's a day for curling up on an armchair with occasional forays into
the kitchen to hit the Kit-e-Kat...

Looks like a day to stay in bed and pull the covers over your head.
Best wishes. MLB

The news reported 100 mile winds over Britian, Ireland and Scotland.
Not fun! \Our weather seems springlike today but snow is on the way. MLB

Wow! That looks like hurricane damage. Scary.

I had to shut my bedroom window last night because the wind was blowing the
rain in, very unusual here. The day before was sunny, calm and very mild
for January. I expect tomorrow will be different again.

I had a damson tree come down in my garden overnight in very high winds. My
wood trailer also sufffered some damage, part of the back has been ripped
off. This morning my TV wouldn't work so I went outside to see if the
aerial had blown down off the chimney stack.
It hadn't but I had to retune it. During the day today it wasn't too windy
but since about 4 pm the wind is really howling outside again.
Here's hoping I won't get any more trees snapped or uprooted tonight. I
have a lot and some of them are elderly fruit trees, some probably planted
when the house was built in the 1930's. They just can't stand up to 70 mph
gusts now and I'm not in a position atm with my injuries to saw them up if
they do fall.

Wow! That looks like after a hurricane hits near where I live or there are
major storm surges. I hope no one was hurt.

I don't think so - that would be like saying a storm passed over
North America, Greenland and Canada. Scotland is *in* Britain.

It's still pretty cold, wet and gusty. Courtney and Murphy have
now worked out the routine of going outside, getting cold and soggy,
and then looking all pathetic until a warm human picks them up and
cuddles them.

Oh, no! I hope none of the trees your nasty neighbors want to take down
are uprooted. You have to have something to deny them access to!

No worries, they are poplars, it would take an earthquake or a 200 mph
hurricane to take them down, they are still standing for me to say no.
I'm so bad.
