Default Met a Waffles look-a-like

As DH is in plaster, I'm on chauffeur duties, ferrying him about to see
clients. At one place yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting a Waffles
look-a-like. Same age, same size, same colour (but two eyes...), slightly
shorter fur and a more pointy tail. But oh, how she was just like Waffles in
her mannerisms and just as vocal. Holly, as the Waffles look-a-like is known
to her humans, and I had a glorious conversation as I was collecting Vernon
at the end of his meeting. She sniffed my hand, let me give her a gentle
headrub and she had plenty to say about my presence in her territiory,
albeit a friendly plenty to say. There was a venerable gentleman cat too,
Sam - a grey, white, tabbyish mix, who was even older and even more
friendly - in the sort of way Francis is more overtly friendly. It was a
pleasant diversion to a day on the road.

I'm so glad the kitties were keeping you company while you waited, Helen.
Best wishes,
Polonca and Soncek
