Default [OT] Google map's Street View

Almost all of Australia now appears in Google's "Street View".

Those of you who have my address are more than welcome to come for a walk
around my neighbourhood. Thankfully, I am not at my front door! But I can
tell you it was taken probably around about April, and it was somewhere
between 7am and 9am on a weekday.

I fyou have any comments or questions I'll be happy to answer them -
although may take them to e-mail for 'privacy'.

Otherwise, enjoy the 'tour'. You can also 'walk' over the Harbour Bridge, or
check out the opera house, or go to Cairns and see the sights I've recently
seen. You coudl even play 'match Yowie's Photo Album' of my 2007 holiday
(www.flickr.com with Yowie9644 album ) with Streetview :-)

So I can see where I used to live when I was there in 1974
(130 Glebe Point Road, Sydney, the house behind the pole
wrapped in black plastic with the guy sitting behind it) -
but I still can't see where I lived in New Zealand before
that, or anywhere I've lived in Scotland.

They painted it. It looked better white. Google for it
and you will also find a picture of it in a history of
anarchism in Australia, sprayed with anarchist graffiti.
That was a few months after I left, I just missed all the
fun.

Thanks for the pointer!
