What a morning Good and Bad

Well for all us roadrunner people with out warning they cancelled our
newsgroups access. Even though I knew threw the groups that they were going
to do this. They never sent an email or announcement out to us at least to
me nothing threw email or on my bill. So I spent the morning on the phone
have a nice chat with quite a few people. In the end got a free month of
service due to the inconvenience.

But on the other hand they gave use free access to www.newshosting.com but
as my chat went along I looked at the newsgroup lists now they go rid of
the groups so no one can have access to child porn guess what this server
has full access to all the child porn groups from pre- teen to Lolita
binaries. Now time Warner and the others did not want to allow its
customers access to these groups. Good going idiots

Check out this link. You don't need a new ISP just a newsserver. Some may
cost a few pennies but there are free sites available.

Thanks Jill they gave all roadrunners account holders access to
newshosting.com for free but the big stink was that they dropped their
newsgroups so people could not have access to child porn. This server has
more access to it

Also they never announced to it holders here in Florida except on that news
media report that they were shutting down. This morning when I tried to
access the group it made me down load from each group a 1000 headers with an
attachment telling you to change over dated today at midnight. It was
simple matter to tell the clients but in the end it cost them a month of
service which I know is nothing in the big wheel of their company.

I wondered who would be affected by the closing of USENET. So far EarthLink
has kept everything available. I understand Verizon and Sprint are also
going to at least severely limit access by closing the alt hierarchy. All
of my newsgroups except this one are alt groups.

I was able to since they did not properly notify central Florida users. Yu
got to check your statement and bill. they did to some users but it took
about an hour and 7 different people to get someone to finally do something
