Default Rusty is gone

Purrs and prayers for the heart to heal and the good memories return. It so
hard being a grown up sometimes.

Just got back from the vet. I stayed with him to the very end. Petted
him and talked to him for some time.
Rusty was 16. I had him for 15+ years.
He is greatly missed.

Winnie, can't hold back the tears

Winnie, I'm so sorry. Words can never fully express how we feel, but we do
empathize your pain. Rusty will be forever in your heart.

I'm so sorry. I've been there all too recently. It's so hard to say
goodbye, even when it's the kindest thing for our beloved cats. I know
I cried a lot of tears for Nina last May.

It's too soon now, obviously. But do think about finding yourself a
new cat friend before too many months pass. Rusty can never be
replaced, but he can have a worthy successor, and you'll give a home
to a cat who needs one.

Comforting hugs to you,
Melissa

Winnie,
Rusty has been loved by all of us at rpca from your stories of him and
my heart stung to read this. I know too well the pain you are feeling
right now and my five are sending purrs and gentle headbutts to you.
Sam will greet Rusty at the Bridge and together they will have a great
time exploring.

Oh, Winnie. I am so, so sorry. I was always pulling for Rusty and I
thought about him often. He reminded me of my Yoda how he
had overcome so much. Yoda has been gone exactly one year.
He'll be there at the Bridge for Rusty I am sure.
Try to remember what a lucky cat he was to have lived, and been
loved so much for so long. And you were the lucky one too. He
sounded like such a great cat.

Winnie, I'm so sorry - Rusty has been a part of this group for such a
long time, and I'm so sad to hear of his passing. Many purrs for you,
and for his journey to the Bridge.

Deb.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

It is so unfair that our last act of kindness is so painful for us
