Congratulations, RPCA is alway here when you need it/us, with always the
heart warming hugs and purrs, funniest stories about cats and ourselves, and
the gentlest kicks in the butt when needed. Hope you are here for more than
another seven years!
Charleen

I'm "celebrating" seven years with RPCA, since January 1998. Cruising
down Memory Lane, thinking about what a joyride it's been. Grateful
to those who so warmly welcomed this ignorant, dumb-bunny into the
fold. Missing those who no longer post - TJ, Aim, HazelAz, and
others. Remembering buckets of tears shed for lost kitties -
Traveler, Dusty, Annabel Lee, Hale-Bopp, Berfert, Seth, Rocky, and too
many others. Tears shed for the loss of cyber-friends - Dave, JEM,
Sam's future daughter-in-law, Eve, Cheryl's son. Appreciating the
many, many things I've learned in asking for advice and in reading
informative posts by others. Thankful for the purrs offered when we
needed them. And, oh, the laughter! The tons of hilarious tales of
life with the furbabies!!

RPCA is the *only* Group I've continued with - have dropped all
others. Though it's grown tremendously, it's still the warm,
friendly, "feel-good" forum it was when I began. It's had some ups
and downs but gets through the downs with kindness and good humor.
Here's looking forward to seven more years!

Jeanne

Victor, five years in RPCA is great. I know I always look forward to your

posts. Your family, Tom and the felines and your Mom are special people
too. May you have five more years plus!

Thank you for the lovely tribute, Jeanne. I have been a part of this
group for 7 years now, since 26 Jun 1998 when I posted my first story.
I was lurking for some time before that. Here's to another 7 years!

How long has RPCA been going? I was here from the start, when RPC
split. But i have no idea how long that is.

According to Google Groups you seem to have been around on RPCA since
the "Inaugural Thread" on 6 March 1997.

I think I've been around since about 1998/1999. I can't remember!

I've just had a lot of fun going through the google archives. The
things we have discussed, and the histories we share! Wow

I've just spoken to Hazel Az on the phone, for the first time in about
18 months. She seems in fine form, things are going well, and all her
kitties are still healthy (knock on wood), including 19 year old
Shinobu. It's about time things started going OK for her.

Happy Anniversary Jeanne.

I've only been around for just over a year & I'm still kicking myself
for not finding the Group sooner. As others have already said, it's
exceptional. Long life to it.

Purrs

Gordon & the TT

I found this group in 2004. I put "cats" in the search newsgroups. It
brought me up several. Health & behaviour and various others.
I really don't know why I chose rpca, but I did. How lucky I am to have
made that choice.
This is indeed an exceptional group. You are all just wonderful.
I have never known a group club together to pay for a big vets bill or a
funeral before for a member.
You are all exceptional and amazing people.

Glad to hear that. I've been thinking of Shinobu off and on (Hazel too,
of course).
