I don't know if I;pve ever mentioned to you that I love Dot's and Buster's
names. They sound like an old comic strip.

A lot of cat names sound like "throwbacks", don't they? Even Betty
was originally named after Betty Boop.

If there was a "Stinky and Dante" comic strip, Stinky would be
carefree, Dante would be a supervillain, and Mimi would be a damsel in
distress.

Hmm. I think Mimi would be the supervillain, although of course, she
wouldn't appear to be one. That would be her trick - lure you in by
making you think she was above all evil, and then snare you once you
let your guard down.

Dante, on the other hand, would be the lovable oaf. He'd be the big,
clumsy but well-meaning guy who might exasperate you, but you can't help
but love the silly fellow.

Stinky would be the hero. But when he wasn't off rescuing people, he
wouldn't hide in a corner like Clark Kent. Goodness, no - he'd be the
life of the party.
