Licorice milestone!

Last night, Licky did something he's never done before. I was lying in
bed reading, and he was being cuddly, getting in very close by my face
and purring. That's not new, but the next thing was - he climbed up onto
my torso and sort of squatted on all fours and let me pet him. Then he
relaxed, put his whole weight down on me and lay there purring. This was
a first!! In the 6.5 years that I've had him, he's never actually gotten
*on* me. What an honor.

It's taken a while, but he may yet become a lap kitty!
