Default Purr request

There was a sad story in my morning paper. Employees opening a pet medical
center for the day found a dog on the doorstep with a note saying that the
owner was a homeless, disabled veteran. The note said that the dog, named
Kaiser, was 16 years old and had apparently had a stroke the night before
and couldn't eat. The owner felt that the kindest thing to do was to put
Kaiser to sleep.

The employees at the medical center worked with Kaiser and force fed him and
got him to the point where he is eating and doing all right. Now they are
trying to find the owner. They put up posters, but so far the owner hasn't
returned for him. Purrs that the owner, or one of his friends, sees the
story and that the two are reunited.

We will purr and pray that the poor dog finds
his master or goes to a forever home.
