Funny dog

I was outside earlier, accompanied by Miss Emily.

There was a small dog across the way from us, and Miss Emily froze and
fluffed up. I walked over to the dog, who was being friendly, let her sniff
my hand then petted her.

When I finished petting her, she turned slightly toward Miss Emily, issued
a gruff "woof!" at her and walked back to her family.

Miss Emily and I glanced at each other, I laughed, and we proceeded on our
walk.

Turns out the dog's name is Missy, and cats irritate her (they have a
six-year-old cat named Billy), but only to the point of telling them to go
away.
