Default Clyde's almost walkabout

I was having lunch out the other day when a friend of a nearby neighbour
came over to our table. He said he was driving out of our neighbour's
driveway when he noticed a pair of ears protruding over the back of the car
seat. Yes, it was Clyde, going on the walkabout of his life. Thank
heavens for the friend of the neighbour who noticed him and then removed him
so that he could go safely home. Whew, that was a close one (memories of
Ollie).

Did Clyde get into your neighbor's friend's car?? And he was about to
drive home unwittingly bringing a passenger along (also maybe unwitting)?
I'm glad he was paying attention!

Close call notwithstanding, I find the idea of looking back to see a
pair of ears sticking up amusing.
