Default Cat Quilt Fundraiser

Hiya folks, a colleague of mine who is a fantastic quilter recently made a
beautiful cat themed patchwork quilt, five foot by five foot, because she
was inspired by some fabric. She's now donated the brand new quilt to the
Preston Branch of Cats Protection and I've decided to raffle it off in a
special, 2000 tickets only draw for cat lovers everywhere. I've got just
under nine months to sell 2000 tickets, and I'm sure that you guys won't
let me down. All profits will go to the Preston, Lancashire, branch of Cats
Protection, to help us with our rescue, rehoming and neutering work.

(Unfortunately, because of PayPal and postage costs, I'll have to ask for a
minimum payment of £10 for PayPal transactions, but UK cheques and postal
orders are great for any amount.). Of course, the quilt will be posted to
the lucky winner, wherever they may be.

Pictures of the quilt, and details of how to get a ticket for the raffle are
on our website www.prestoncpl.com

Just check out the link on the left hand bottom part of the front page, or
go to the Events page.

Love

Jeanette

Rob has told me that, if we get the VA thing straightened out so that he
gets back payments, I can buy raffle tickets. I was asking the owners to
purr for the VA to get its act together before, now I'm asking them to go
into overdrive, and have shown them the pictures of the quilt as added
incentive.

It's a lovely quilt, and I'd love to enter, but the few times I've tried
to create a Paypal account it hasn't worked for me.

Hiya Debra

Yes, I've already sold five tickets to a friend of mine who is visiting
England at the moment and lives in New Jersey. Wherever you live, if you win
it will be posted to you. I've argued the case that if we allow cat lovers
EVERYWHERE the chance to buy tickets, we'll raise enough money that the
postage costs won't be an issue. A Danish friend of mine from one of my
music forums is going to buy tickets, and she's spreading the word on
LiveJournal and in her childless forum. It's really taking off! :-)

Love

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette,

Lovely quilt. I live in the US and would gladly use PayPal
to purchase 10 tickets, but would they be ok with mailing
it to the US if I win?

Have you any friends with a PayPal account who could pay us, and you could
pay them? :-)
