Default Roxy's staying home today

I decided not to bring her to the vet eye doctor today. She seems
to be getting better. I don't think she needs to be rushed to a
specialist as an emergency. Plus, it's a 45-minute drive, and she
would be very stressed by that. I was about to take her, I even had
her in the car, and started to drive. She got all wide-eyed and
started meowing - and I saw *both* eyes clearly. That when I decided
that she really didn't need this.

Next week, I will most likely make a follow-up visit with my regular
vet. If it does get worse again, then I will call the specialist
back (they said I could do this) and re-schedule the appointment
that I cancelled today.

I guess the bottom line is not so much does she need vet care (it's
obvious she does), but is it an emergency? And does she need to be
seen by a specialist *today*? I decided the answer was no. So everyone,
cross your fingers with me that I made the right decision!

Thanks for purrs,
Joyce
