kind person (she fosters d-pets all the time) who now has a kitten she
plans to have declawed. I'm assuming she just doesn't realize what

I'm sorry to hear that, but you can't force somebody to educate themselves
if they don't want to hear it, and you can't shove empathy down their throat
if they don't already have it. Purrs that the little furbaby will at least
get through the pain as quickly as possible and will adjust to life without
claws without developing problems that will cause this numbskull to dump
him/her.

Even if you hate Megan, her website is THE best anti-declaw website

the net. If you want info and data to change someone's mind, it's

is using her website for a reference tool, and it IS a good reference
tool. If Seanette doesn't want to, I am sure we can find her another
website. Why don't we spend our energy looking for one for her, instead
of picking another argument over something that happened months ago?

request given the history here).

I really am *not* the one starting these little bruhahas, but I *am* the
*only* one being scolded about them when I respond (even mildly and not in

But Seanette is an extremely intelligent woman. If she were offended, I
bet she could have worked through it just fine. Sometimes it's better
for a 3rd party, especially one who has a past history of conflict with
both Megan and Lyn, to just sit back and let them resolve
misunderstanding without jumping in with a highly inflammatory post.

out.

good websites out there. I can't find the one I used to use to print a
brochure from. Here are three I thought were interesting:

Then I apologize for taking offense, Sherry - I will admit I'm still a bit
singed around the edges and jumpy when it comes to these two (I've never

Oh, ok. I couldn't for the life of me figure out where *that* was

WTF is this about? All I said is that Megan's site is the best
anti-declaw site on the net. It is. I wish people would quit dragging
me into their ****ing wars. I have absolutely nothing against Seanette
- I just couldn't understand what she was talking about. And Megan and
I don't see eye-to-eye on a number of issues but she's still the best
resource when it comes to declawing.

Please heed Sherry's plea and don't start in. Isn't saying "she started
it" exactly what children say when they get caught? I'd like to think you
are above all that childishness.

You have a real talent for writing and I enjoy your Sammy stories and would
like to see more.

Of course, you can write whatever you like, but for what it's worth, the
more you participate in these flame wars, the less likely I am to open the
post when I see your name. That makes me sad.

If -L- is Lynn, I'd say she did not shout at Seanette. Seanette asked for
anti-declaw links, and -L- suggested one of the best links around. Phil P
has another source of information.

If you are referring to another person who actually "shouted" at Seanette, I
didn't see it because I probably have killfiled that person.

I hope you understand that my purpose is not to "scold" you or hurt you. I
care about you. I believe you are a kind-hearted person with a delightful
sense of humor. It's to let you know that you have so much to contribute
and resorting to childish bickering does not do you justice.

Seanette's examples to the woman are falling on deaf ears. The woman
doesn't want to hear about the reasons not to declaw, period. Sometimes you
