RPCA to be managed by PETA
"Mark Edwards" wrote It was announce, early this morning, that management of the rec.pets.cats.anecdotes newsgroup would be taken over by the PETA organization. This news both shocked and horrified many group member, and gratified others. Non-vegans were seen leaving the group in droves. When asked about this change in management, rpca posting archivist April Feerst told this reporter that she thought it was a good idea; that it would bring the group's sense of humor to new levels. When this reporter asked how shrill political polemic could possibly improve the humor of rpca, Miss Feerst replied, "Oh no, not THAT PETA. I meant the OTHER PETA - People Eating Tasy Animals. They're a LOT more fun!" And there you have it, news fans! Note for the humor impaired: This is a work of humor and characterizations of either PETA organization, and rpca are not to be taken as actual opinions about thos groups or organizations. Your mileage may vary. Contents may expand upon exposure to air. Do not play with Happy Fun Ball in bathtub. Side effects include nausea, headaches, boogie fever, and a sincere desire to bring about World Peas. LOL! Happy April to you, too, Mark! -- Marina, Frank and Nikki Email marina (dot) kurten (at) pp (dot) inet (dot) fi Pics at http://uk.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/frankiennikki |
